Questions & Answers

Is there a simple way to stop the grease from dripping from both ends on the floor? This is extremely inconvenient for use on the patio. ?

That was the first time I used mine, and it worked perfectly. I couldn't figure out where the grease came from or what had caused it. I covered it with an old towel. I didn't notice any grease after a couple of uses. The other night, I grilled hamburgers, which generate a lot of grease but didn't drip.

The length appears to be 31 inches - I'm guessing the front row is L to R - What is the length of the actual grilling surface and how much of it is shelf?

Hold on while I get my tape. The grilling surface is about 18" x 18" It's not a huge grill, it's perfect for my wife and me and our daughter, but it's kind of small, I had company over when I first got it and tried to cook six steaks on it and, well, four good steaks is about it's maximum, if you're an advanced griller, you might get six burgers on it, but if you might need it for larger groups, I would get a larger one We don't have visitors very often, which is why God created pizzas:

Is it possible to attach a thermometer to this grill with ease?

To connect the common type, all you have to do is drill a hole, but those aren't very precise. It's preferable to use a probe thermometer to check the internal temperature of the food you're preparing. Each time is flawless.

The height is 15 inches, according to the specs. 4 inches. This does not appear to be a viable option. Is the barrel atop the stand the only thing they're talking about?

Yes. It's about the barrel they're talking about.

Installing is a breeze! Simply apply logic and the color picture
5/5

I'm not sure why people think it's so difficult to put together; yes, the written instructions are useless, but all you have to do is look at the picture on the box; it took me 30 minutes and a socket wrench, 4 legs, and a round barrel to put it together; come on, people. The grill is fantastic. Don't worry about the squeaky wheels; it's a bbq, so don't move it around. Corn is used to provide extra ventilation. br>br>Here are a few pointers: the four screws closest to the barrel are for the barrel, while the rest are for the legs. Before attaching the two halves of the top legs, insert the bottom bracket into the holes. Tighten everything with your fingers first, then torque it down once everything is in place.

It's a nice, small, and well-kept place
3/5

built and appealing patio grill with major flaws! I used to be the proud owner of a colossal Char- It was a Griller smoker/grill with firebox that served me well for over 13 years, with only three paint jobs (photo taken when it was over 10 years old). These products are well-made and will last a long time if you look after them properly, i. e. , clean up the ash as soon as possible, and repaint as needed When I moved and sold my old apartment, it was a simple decision to buy the patio version. I didn't make a purchase through Amazon. PROS: br>br>
- Grilling and barbecuing are two of his strong suits. br>- Materials of high qualitybr>- Cast iron cooking grate (though it appears to be of lower quality and weight than my previous unit)br>- -Small sizebr>-Small sizebr>-Small Quite simple to put together by one personbr>- br>Easy ash draw-br>- Br>br>PROS: Attractive appearancebr>br>CONS:
- Because the lid is not flush with the door, heat and smoke easily escape. The fit on my old Char-Bronze Char-Bronze Char-Bronze Char The firebox on the griller was far superior.
- Grease collects in the right and left sides and drips onto the floor through the poorly sealed seams because there is no grease hole or design accommodation for grease. This has grown increasingly irritating over time (I've been using it for about a month and have yet to find a simple solution). )
- There is no temperature gauge (though this is a simple $8 fix). )br>br>***Update After One Month**
I'm downgrading my rating from a 3 to a 1. br>br>The more I use the grill, the more I despise it because of the grease drip. Grease leaks through the seams at the bottom and through the leg bolt holes on the sides, according to a close inspection. It's a complete disaster. See pics.

Grilling is fantastic
4/5

This grill is large enough to accommodate two people. It can easily serve 8 burgers for a party of five. So far, I've used it to grill salmon, chicken breasts, burgers, and hot dogs, and they've all turned out perfectly. Because of its smaller size, it uses less charcoal, but it still gets hot enough to do a good job. Make sure to follow the instructions for seasoning. It makes a significant difference in terms of breaking in the cooking grates as well as preventing rusting on the outside. I installed a temperature gauge, as you can see in the photo, and it's very useful. The four legs wobble at the bolted-together joints, so I docked one star. It's not a major issue, but a couple of brackets to secure them would be extremely useful for stability.

There are no high-quality specifications for this product
3/5

Based on the positive feedback, I chose this small grill. The package was delivered in perfect condition. However, before I even started assembling the grill, I noticed that the kettle part was bent as soon as I opened the box. I figured it would be something irrelevant in the end, so I started putting it together. After assembling the set of legs for one side, I discovered that the holes for the other side were not drilled in alignment, which meant there was no way to screw the two pieces together with the nut and bolt. But, persevering, because this was a surprise gift for my husband, I rummaged through our garage for other smaller nuts and bolts that might clear the misaligned hole, but to no avail. I'm in pretty good shape. We have plenty of tools and hardware around our house because we are well-versed and experienced when it comes to putting things together like this. But this thing isn't made of high-quality materials. quality. As you may be aware, when you slide the two poles together, you should be able to see light straight through the hole where the nut and bolt will be inserted, but they did not line up no matter what I did - Despite the fact that the other leg had been drilled correctly, they were completely incorrect. It was a total flop! After a long struggle, I finally gave up and packed it up to send it back. I'm going to buy something else.

This is an excellent little grill
5/5

This grill is fantastic! It wasn't difficult to put together, and best of all, it cooks beautifully! It's been about six weeks since I got it, and I've cooked on it at least once a week since then. I didn't need a large grill, but this little guy has enough cooking space to cook several steaks or a half-dozen hamburgers at once and still have room to spare. Cooking chicken halves on it is one of my favorite things to do with it. Cooking chicken (with the skin on) can be difficult, but if you close the dampers almost all the way, there will be no flare-ups. In addition, the chicken is delectable! I cover the grate with enough charcoal to completely cover it, then add some more. Allow the coals to heat up, spread them out, and fully open the dampers before attempting to cook steaks. In any case, you'll want to cook your steaks quickly and thoroughly. If you only need a small grill, this is the one to get. The cast iron grates are fantastic and should last a long time; however, I recommend that you season them according to the instructions before using them for the first time; the only difference I made was that I seasoned them in the oven rather than on the stove. On the grill, to be exact. I hope this has been of assistance to you!.
