I see no reason why you couldn't cut the connector and strip one end to connect to the controller.
All I did was connect them.
Heat does not appear to have an impact on the cable thickness. The cable thickness is used to determine the amount of power and current that will pass through it.

I needed a longer pair of ten cables, one of which had MC4 connectors. This pair, at 20 feet in length, does the job for me. br>The MC4 connectors are pre-installed on one end. The other end is left unattached after installation. That's exactly what I was looking for. If I wanted or needed an extension, the seller threw in a set of compatible mating MC4 connectors as a bonus. br>For the price, I believe this cable set provides excellent value.
A+++++++. igreely is of the highest standard. Over the last six months, I've bought five different brands of PV wire. These cables are by far the best in terms of quality. True 10awg tinned copper wire with very flexible insulation and excellent mc4 connectors Even the packaging is of excellent quality. The velcro wire tie is included. A+++++++.
Where is Mark as four square millimeters, which is slightly heavier than the 12 gauge advertised. Rubbery, supple, and supple insulation is used. On each end, the MC4 connectors appear to be well-attached and of good quality. These cables appear to be a good deal.
When we go dispersed camping, we use it in conjunction with a 2017 Jayco Hummingbird RV and a Renogy solar panel. The bare wire ends are connected to the RV battery terminals and secured with terminal nuts, while the solar panel adaptor connectors are connected to the Renogy solar panel connectors on the other end. These are simple to connect and disconnect from the solar panel. For us, a length of twenty feet has proven to be ideal. The wire is long enough to allow the solar panel to be placed in direct sunlight, but not so long that charge efficiency is compromised, and it is sturdy. When the wire is not in use, we coil it up and secure it with velcro to the camper frame. One question I had prior to purchasing was whether or not my camper had a so-called "so-called" "so-called" "so-called" " Would the extension cord fit in the solar connection port? In most cases, those ports are no longer in use. The connectors found on this cable are used by modern solar panels. It's best to connect them to the RV's battery directly.
There was no need to do any additional work. Simple and quick to do.
It was fantastic in every way. A second set of connectors was included. I purchased this to test my solar setup before mounting my solar panel on the roof of my RV. My RV is solar-ready, and I need this to check it out. After that, the wire will be required to complete the final connections. The wire and connectors seem to be of excellent quality.
I've used higher-priced brands with similar quality. I like how one end of the cable is left open, with the MC4 connector removed. I can use it with or without the MC4 connector as a result of this. This is the only vendor that sells solar cable in this configuration, and they're also the cheapest for this size, but it's currently out of stock.
I increased the number of panels in my off-the-beaten-path project by two. grid solar array, but one of them was too far away for my parallel connector to reach. These 6' 10AWG cables arrived quickly, were incredibly simple to install (some M4 cables require minor adjustments), and are performing flawlessly.
