You have to be very careful when turning it. I asked for a replacement and they sent me one - I'll let you know how it worked out. I'm able to charge my ring perfectly with this device It would have been better if they used a better cell frame.

The installer was very easy to use! instructions were printed on a small sheet of paper that was a bit faded, but installation was relatively easy- Without referring to it, move forward with the text. It is a good alternative to screwing the mounting screws into the exterior wall if you don't intend to clamp / mount the Ring Solar Panel on the rain gutter. It was easy to coil up / tie up the extra cable from the Ring solar panel to the Ring Spotlight Cam and place it within the rainfall.

Otherwise, it needs to be modified. An attachment to a rain gutter of this mount is sufficient for attaching a solar panel. Although the solar panel cannot be tipped to face the sun, it is still able to tilt downward. In order for the panel to lie flat, it should be I suppose it could be done if you are lucky enough to have your gutters facing south so that The extension rod that came with the solar panel was what I used to modify it. In the attached image, the solar panel has been raised above the gutter as a result of the modification. This wasn't an easy or attractive solution, but it is now possible to tilt the solar panel upwards.

It is mentioned that the Gutter Mount for Ring Solar Panel (white color) is reviewed here. As part of my installation of my Ring Spotlight camera on my back porch, I purchased this so that it would work with my Ring Spotlight camera. Despite the fact that my gutters aren't more than one inch thick, this device is working just fine. I have had to endure some heavy rain, snow, and wind in Texas, yet the solar panel has remained firmly in place. The final verdict is that this is a very good product and it has worked perfectly for me at least.

I think these mounts are perfect for the job. Gutters of any thickness can be mounted securely to them using the screws, and lips can also be added to them as an option. thumb screws held firmly, while the slip-on cap kept the holster from slipping out A positive connection is made between the solar panel and the in mount. The mounts are great and I'm very satisfied with them.

I only have two comments the screws needed to be a little longer because of my gutter's shape, and the small plate that slides into the groove on the back of the solar panel could be a little tighter. Having said that, it does seem as if the solar panel is not very well secured to the mount. Despite this, I have had some windy weather since installing it on my gutter. Since it was fixed, it has not come loose.

The device is small and easy to handle. The gutter mount hardware was ordered instead of the I closed hardware and was used to attach the gutters. In some cases, you may be able to charge multiple attachments if there is a way to do so and a need for it. This would be a much better alternative than Ring panels when the additional cost is considered.

I got this mounting solution after purchasing the Ring mount for my solar panels, which at best pointed at my neighbors' house across the street. I am very satisfied with the mount's strength and how well it attaches to my rain gutter. The full semi-final With my solar panel oriented perfectly in the circle of motion, I was able to align it.
