Connectors are large enough to accept large wires on the controller, so it works fine. If there are some reviews saying "this is not a kit," don't worry about it. This comes with everything you need, except for A little bit of "cutting off" the ends of the DC cables in a panel Because of its design, the controller can accept both bare and insulated wires very well. You wouldn't want your installation to be shabby if you didn't cut the cables correctly. I set everything up on the picnic table before installing it in my van to make sure it would work. In less than 15 minutes, the battery was charged and the fan I connected to the load was working well. There is a clear label on all inputs/outputs. tend to think some folks shouldn't try this kind of project unless they are really inept at installation. Unless you are inept at this kind of stuff, I wouldn't hesitate. In terms of output, both panels and chargers are in accordance with specifications.
There are also USB ports on the device. It was nice to plug in a USB light that I had lying around it worked great.
I received my new solar panel in good condition and on time. After I received it, I tested the solar panel and found it to have a voltage of 21 volts. A 5V battery. As a temporary fix, this panel has been used to supplement my RV roof mounted panel when the sun is rising or setting, or if the roof is shaded. It can also be simply connected via MC4 connector, so it can be plugged in and used immediately, the entire setup can be finished in as little as Based on the measurements taken by my charge controller, the solar output is as specified. The 100W solar panel is exactly what I was looking for.
The reviews say that it is easy and works as advertised, but why? I'd like to know how to do this modifying these components. It appears to be a plug-in, which is easy enough, but I have to modify the code. Let's just say the warranty is voided. In this system, there are no totals. Upon hearing that I needed more cables and wires to connect to the battery, I went out and bought more. Buying more stuff will make you happier. As of the date of this review, my Amazon rating of 1 has not been posted. It is best to be cautious when purchasing.
I have found a "Pro" I can rely on. I was wondering if he was a seller or if I just bought a 6mono panel from him. Several professionals have come out to hook up my 6 AGM Batteries and my charge controller to my 4 solar panels, but sadly, I now only have 4 AGM Batteries and 3 solar panels left because the cute little box on the back burnt out one solar This one panel system includes everything you need to set things up, so I got it. As well as reading up on solar, I spent a week researching it. If you just start out, it won't be that hard. In addition, this TP A kit like this is just what you need to build you up for whatever task you are about to tackle. We don't make solar panels or expensive batteries any more, so don't waste your money and energy on a pro. This kit will save you money and provide the knowledge you need to achieve your solar goals.
My cabin is off the grid and this kit of two 100W solar panels and two 125 ah batteries provides me with the power that I require including the pump that I use for my plumbing. In terms of performance, it has been very good. an inverter for your AC sump pump, and you may need a larger system if you plan to run it for a long time.
I am very pleased with our purchase. Thanks to it we can now run lights inside the shed and charge batteries outside.
On 40 and 80 meters, the charge controller makes a bit of noise, which is something you need to keep in mind if you're looking to use it for amateur radio. Those frequencies are typically used at night, so it’s not a huge issue, but it’s still pretty important to know that some RF noise is being produced. At this point, I haven't tried to mitigate it in any way. During my review, I will update it if I find something that is successful.
I would like you to read the KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE ALL ITEMS. Wires of the same gauge and eyelets will need to be added to the cables to connect to the battery and the inverter to the battery as well as additional wires. The one I have yet to use is still in the box. It is being held up by more expensive It is very disappointing. The set up was not quick. My hope is that everything will work well when it's all put together* Update In recent months, the kit has replaced the charge controller and is distributed with wires with eyelets, which I am very happy to see. Mine does not come with this particular set up, but after I installed the necessary wires, I was able to get it working. My van roof was drilled to mount it. I was apprehensive about it but I was right. In addition, I purchased long screws with wingnuts, and it holds well! The device has held up flawlessly on my trip across the nation. charges two 100 ah agm batteries for my 1000 watt pure sine inverter that powers my fridge and small washer, etc. For each battery to be charged, it takes a full day of sun.
