Questions & Answers

Are these lifepo4 6v batteries compatible with this solar panel?

I agree,

Do you think the mounting bracket included on the feeder is strong enough?

The mounting bracket and screws come with the product. I really like how this works.

What is the amount of time required for the panel to recharge a fully discharged 6v 12ah agm battery when it has good sunny weather?

Before using these devices, be sure to test the voltage with a meter
4/5

Several months ago I ordered two of these 6 volt. Each package was clearly labeled 6 volt. In full sunlight with no load the meter was showing 12 volts. There are 8 volts in the battery. I'm sure they both put out a lot of energy. There is 35 amps of power (350 milliamps. ) This is a reasonable amount. 12, there was no discussion. That's 4 volts out of 8 volts. The power consumption is five My 6-volt batteries gave them a charge of 7 volts once I connected them to 7-volt batteries. Continuing to pump, the voltage was set at 5 volts. It would destroy the batteries if you put 35 amps into It doesn't matter what you use these panels for, they will be very impressive. They are very well constructed and the mounting bracket is aluminum so it will last for a very long time. I will return them, I tried to dump them in the pool to test how waterproof they are, but couldn't do it. I am giving 4 stars based on the construction and quality of material. I am performing. Due to the wrong voltage I deducted one star although the packages indicated otherwise. I will try again as the products look impressive as long as the voltage is correct. *EDIT I see that I jsut missed the voltage on the package. 1) I put one on a pool step overnight since I was returning these. For 18 hours, it laid about 3 inches deep. Lighting it directly from the pool to the sun, it shone 13 times. The battery should have 2 volts at There is a 25 Hz. voltage. This is definitely a weatherproof product. So I cancelled my return after I heard my neighbor was going to use them. ** 2) I ordered a second set of 6 volt panels in the hope the first ones had been Interestingly, all four looked the same in the sunlight today A voltage of 25 volts should be used. There is a 25 amp filter on the circuit. Covering parts of one panel with cardboard in an attempt to lower the voltage didn't work. When viewing the page in "landscape" orientation, covering the left column causes everything to drop to Even covering the bottom row did nothing, the voltage and amps remained the same Honestly, I have no idea what that means. They will get more electrical tape applied in different spots as I play with them. It would've been a lot better if they had maxed out at 7 + or - I would be completely delighted if you could supply me with 120 volts. wrapping a colored plastic sheet over the entire face could "shade" it enough to lower its 1) I have ordered a pair of 12 volt panels because just to find out how much power they will supply. As soon as they arrive, I will post. I EDITED THIS I just received 2 12 volt panels that were reading 21 volts at A 160 amp circuit. Each of these two banks is a bank of its own. Each alligator clip for the "6 volt" ones has two wires connected to it (which explains the two wires on each alligator clip for the "12 volt") and for the "12 volt" ones, two wires are connected Whatever the case may be, they deliver tremendously more power than their ratings. It seems that solar panels are subject to this problem. The most common shunt regulator can't handle the current without an extra transistor. I was going to design one but I couldn't get it to work. With a LM317 series regulator and a heatsink I'll be good to go. If you have a flooded battery, you can probably use the "12 volt" ones Currently, the current is very I would prefer a sealed battery with a voltage of 7 volts rather than 6. Over that, it can be no more than 2 volts. There is too much current flowing at 320 amps. In the case of an Odyssey battery, you should not go beyond 15 volts or 15 amps at any time. You don't want to lose such an expensive battery. * The review has been completed.

The score is 6 for nice Solar charger with a voltage of 12 volts
5/5

In addition, The first thing I would like to address is the reviews that state that they ordered a 6-pack vs. There was a problem with the 12-volt panel they received - it was blown out It's volts plus. * Yes, you can check the voltage in a panel with an open circuit and no load, and it'll register 12 When the sun shines directly on it, the voltage reaches about 1000 volts. As high as 13 was the highest I've seen it. A 3 volt battery. The load is connected only when you are connected to it. If you remove a battery, it will fall to somewhere around 6 volts. The voltage range is from 5 to 25 volts. Below you will find pictures and a video that show how I have it set up and what happens when it loads or not. It's a 6-volt charger that I use to charge my phone The trailcam batteries pictured are also from Amazon, and this one is a 6-volt battery. If the panel is connected to a load, the rate increases to around 6 once the panel is connected to a load. This charger has a 5 volt output. In my opinion, it seems to be of high quality and will work for the purpose for which I purchased it. My experience with it has been good so far, but I have only had it for a couple days.

This charger is compatible with Ring Doorbells
5/5

This charger is what I bought to charge my Ring doorbell 2nd generation. In my opinion, Ring does not make a solar charger that is acceptable for the doorbell, and I did not want to spend $50 on a solar panel that I would still have to adapt. I thought that $21 for this one was a good price. Here are a few examples of cable and doorbells It keeps my doorbell charged as a result of the modification to the mount There is no longer a need to remove it from the wall 6 times a year to charge it. Thus far, it appears to be charging my battery to 91%.

Panel is of a nice size for the Both the WildGame brand E Drernaline panel and this one I have, and paid almost exactly the same price for each
5/5

well for me, but I find this Sumind panel to be the more powerful one. There are some differences, such as the larger size and the fact that it does not come with a conduit like the WildGame, but I consider the larger size an asset rather than an inconvenience.

I use these as a replacement for my deer feeders and they are excellent! My deer feeders were previously supplied with cheap factory-supplied solar panels at twice the price
5/5

After seeing the value in this product, I replaced them again. The feeder had a solid construction and was easy to install.

I am very pleased with the unit
4/5

No matter what the weather, my 6v battery remains topped off, even when it rains. There is only one reason why I gave it a 4-star rating The wiring needs to be armored so that varmints cannot chew on it.

Charger that works really well
5/5

It seems to work This charger doubles as a charger. The charger will work with both 6 volts and 12 volts batteries, and will know which one to use. I liked the charger a lot and it was I would highly recommend this product.
