I just tried it, and it works. The battery was at 31% and the phone was at 2 bars. Put it in the sun for 45 minutes and the battery returned to 4 bars and the phone was 49%. When the battery is fully charged, the phone charges faster (which is only natural).
Yes, it's the same solar charger with a battery pack built in.
One is for charging the battery (if desired), while the others are for charging your electronic devices.
It doesn't come with a separate power bank, but it does come with one built into the unit. When I begin my backpacking trip, I keep it fully charged, and it functions as a power bank.

I bought it with the intention of using it as a backpacking power source. br>br>It appears to be nice gear, well built, perhaps too well built. br>br>I bought it with the intention of using it as a backpacking power source. It'd be a good replacement for my battery at just over one pound. It was heavy when I first picked it up. I weighted it and it is 50% heavier than advertised

With all of the power outages and extreme temperatures, I needed a device that could charge my phone or possibly a small tablet in the event of a power outage. I ran some simple tests and found that my phone went from 87 percent to 100 percent in less than 10 minutes using this solar charger. My fears about a lack of direct sunlight were unfounded, as the sun shines brightly even through my window. It can also be charged via USB, which is convenient, and it has a built-in battery, unlike other solar chargers. The "hooks" are a nice added feature that allow me to hang it anywhere. My only complaint is that I would like a complete user manual. The information provided in the pamphlet is incomplete. It was well worth the money.
It was my second attempt. The panel came with a fully charged battery, which quickly charged my phone. However, I was unable to recharge the battery pack by placing the panel in the sun. I attempted to re-energize the on-board computer once more. Using the board's USB ports to charge the battery failed as well (tried several ports). )
. br>I then attempted to charge my phone by plugging it into the panel and placing it in the sun. Nothing.
. br>I tried charging the panel by placing it on the dashboard of my car. Nothing.
. br>I attempted to reach RynoTuff through Amazon. Have you received an auto-repair service? Respond to the email with the promise of a response in three business days. I never received a reply (and yes, I checked my Spam folder). ) I gave it another shot by filing a complaint with Amazon. The same thing happened: there was no response.
. br>I attempted to contact them through their Facebook page. There has been no reply. I've been completely oblivious to the fact that I've been ghoste
. br>$65 dollars was squandered. Never again will I trust. AVOID!.
It charged my iphone from 40% to 80% in approximately one hour of full sun exposure . I'm blown away!.

With the battery built in, it charged my iPad mini 4, an iPod touch 6th generation, and half of an iPod Touch 6th generation right out of the box.
It took 30 minutes to charge the ipod from 0% dead to full charge
%3 Because of this, I purchased a second battery one as well as a non-battery one.
It can literally be used almost anywhere. During daylight hours, it is most likely usable on a plane. That scenario hasn't been put to the test yet. The frustration of running out of battery power while traveling is well known. It has an advantage over similar devices because it has a built-in battery. Nobody enjoys moving a solar panel around in order to capture some sun rays. It appears to be of high quality. Who else's product comes with a lifetime guarantee?.
This is a nice little rig that appears to function properly, but I believe it requires direct sunlight on the panels to charge back up properly. I tried charging it in the sun inside my house with light streaming in through a window, but the results were disappointing. Since it's starting to get cold outside, I haven't tried it yet.
I had no idea it would be a hit with our group. Although it is large, it folds up nicely and has a great storage pocket. Is capable of simultaneously charging two devices in all weather conditions. For those who enjoy being outside, this is a must-have.
