The purchased panel is designed specifically for bluetti and comes with an integrated cable.
It's also fine to use 200 watts. Because of the conversion, the final solar power input could be around 160 watts. br>Only Ac50s receive the maximum amount of data. It takes 120 watts to produce 160 watts of power. 120=40w wastebr>br>Actually, the bluetti sp120 is cost effective, producing about 90-100 watts of electricity. Over the last few years, finding the perfect solar panel has become a bit of a compulsion. I've had a number of them, and the vast majority of them have disappointed me in some way. The majority of the time, it's the charge speed or the flimsiness. So, after a lot of research that nearly drove my wife insane, the BLUETTI SP200 200w pleasantly surprised me. Apart from being far more solid and well made than the others I've collected, it also has some cutting-edge technology that made charging a lot easier. Especially in low-light situations. The only thing it lacks is a direct USB port or a standalone socket for a small device, but it's such a nice unit that I don't mind. br>br>Over the next few months, I'll continue to test it and report back if anything changes. However, based on my testing, I am more than satisfied.
I've looked around. **Update at the bottom*
I know what you're thinking; I was thinking the same thing,. . . this is a pricey solar panel; is it worth it? Yes, in my opinion, it is well worth the money. If you've ever looked at or played with portable solar panels, you know they're hit or miss in terms of quality, actual output, and portability. I expected the SP200 to be thin when I received it, but it is even thinner than I anticipated. Sunpower cells are used in the panels, which are widely recognized as the most durable and high-performing cells in the industry. There is no need for an extension because the cable that comes with the panel is of good quality and long enough for my needs. br>br>I only intended to order one of these because of the low price, but now that I've used one, I'm itching to order another so I can use them with my AC200P. I'm currently using it for the AC50S, and because the panel outputs so much power, the AC50S uses the entire 122 watts available! Both of these devices are so small that they barely take up any space when you carry them around! I also challenged my children (9 and 7) to set it all up without any help from me and without having seen it done before, and they did so with no problems; it's all plug and play. Advantages: br>br> br>Sunpower Solar Cellsbr>Has mounting options (grommets)br>Simple to use (my kids figured it out)br>br>Cons, and I'm being picky here:br> br>I wish they included one of those MC4 tools to make it easier to disconnect panels when you're done (they clip together so tightly that it's sometimes difficult to squeeze the little tabs)br>br>Some other panels on the market have USB ports or other available power options included with the panels without the need to connect to anything, and I'm wondering if it could be as thin with that included. br>br>**Update*
Ok, so I went out and bought two more (don't tell my wife). I understand that these panels are costly, and I doubt you'll find anyone who disagrees with you. I had no intention of purchasing even one, let alone three. To me, the portability and compact design are the most amazing features. I don't have a big RV or a lot of room to haul large solar arrays around; These three panels take up the same amount of space as a folded quilt, and during my initial testing, I was getting around 470 watts in 90 degree heat, with a minimum of 100 watts when the clouds rolled in. I'm very pleased with the results.
1. Advantagesbr> I consider it to be of the highest quality.
2. The panels can be used on their own or hung on the side. br>3. Portability is excellent. You can easily carry it by the side handle; however, it would be even better if the product came with a bag, as I don't use it every day and a bag would protect it from dust. br>4. Most users will be satisfied with a power output of 200 watts. br>br>It would be ideal if:
1. Has a wider range of output compatibility for phones, tablets, and other mobile devices. br>2. Because the product is so costly, I wish the company offered some sort of recycling or trade-in program. There is a plan in place for us to get a discount on future models if we upgrade.
The fact that it is 200 watts appeals to me. It is inefficient in comparison to Jackery solar panels. I get 145-150 watts from two jackery 100 watt panels (for a total of 200 watts). 145- The output power is 147 watts. I average 122 watts of output when using the Bluetti 200. However, it was not as effective as I had hoped. Hopefully, the Jackery 200 will become available again, and I'll be able to replace my Bluetti with one. Not all solar panels are created equally. The top of the list is Jackery. br>br>To be fair, this is my first Bluetti purchase. I have five Jackery panels that are each 100 watts. All of them combined outperformed the Blueitti.
To power the AC200, I purchased one 200w panel from Maxoak to go along with my three 120w panels. I connected the 200w panel in parallel to the 1 120W panel and took the power level from 55% to 100% in under 5 hours. ( partially cloudy day ) I also own three of The design is very straightforward and durable. I'm confident that these will serve you well for many years. br>br>I've also used my EB150 to test this panel, and it performs as expected. I just wanted to make sure there were no issues because the battery was almost full (no information on charge time). Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality of these panels. The only suggestion I have is that instead of being hardwired, the cables coming out of the solar panel have a quick disconnect. br>br>Overall, the Maxoak family of products is very impressive, well designed and built, and I spent several weeks deciding which company I would go with for my solar setup. I made the right decision based on the excellent quality and customer service.
SunPower Cells of the Highest Quality! To begin with, these are pricier than other foldable panels available on Amazon. com, with the exception of CIGS solar panels. You get what you pay for when it comes to foldable and flexible panels. br>br>The SunPower cells used in the BLUETTI SP200 are among the best available. solar cell manufacturers at the top of the food chain And it's obvious. I bought these panels to use with my BLUETTI AC200 (1,700Wh) battery and they work great. It's simple to set up, connect, disconnect, and pack up the panels. They're quite large, weighing in at nearly 15 pounds. , but it's easy to move around thanks to the rubberized grip handle. br>br>The MC4 connectors on the integrated cables are thick, sturdy, and strong, and should be able to withstand "light" abuse. I needed two of these to meet the 35V requirement for charging my BLUETTI AC200 via PV, and they work perfectly in direct sunlight. br>br>These panels should last me a long time on my overlanding or camping trips. outages as required They have made me extremely happy.
