For a homemade "solar generator" project, I bought one of these charge controllers. This charge controller has some high points and some low points, so make sure you are aware of it before you purchase. If you don't want to go for a Renogy, then skip this. In comparison with other HUINE units, this one has a very compact size. The advertisement claims that it is filled with epoxy, and you can also assume it is waterproof, or at least water resistant These organisms are the least resistant to disease. It shouldn't be intentionally submerged, but it could get wet. A thin gauge and very small wire are also characteristics of the cable. Despite the wire's capability to handle a burst of 20A, I am not convinced that it can hold up to sustained 20A. In addition to the same gauge wires across board, you will also be limited across the board. Will this work with a single panel input to power some remote equipment (like a wireless radio power injector, or digital signage) if wiring it would otherwise be inconvenient? Maybe.

Drawn in a patristic manner. In order to store it for any length of time, you need to physically unhook the battery. It's not a deal breaker, but it is a bit annoying, you have to remember to do it every time, or the battery will die when you start it up.

Nothing to complain about. It answered my need for a small controller for a small solar build. There are led's in the system so that you know what is happening in the system so it works great. I have an update for you- My order of one of these failed and was getting over 15 volts from the controller without the overcharge protection. They were very eager to help and I was very impressed. There is no doubt the size and quality of these products are perfect for smaller builds, and you have the assurance that any problems with this product will be promptly addressed by the company. It's a great book to recommend.

Despite the fact that I have it in an enclosure, knowing it's waterproof gives me an added sense of My experience includes using a variety of controllers, some with voltage readouts and various indicator lights that add to the battery's load. Occasionally I have used controllers with on-off push buttons that force me to physically push the button to restart the system if the controller shuts down due to a low battery voltage. I would also like the ability to turn them off when they are not in use (ex. overnight) to reduce parasitic power A buck charge measurement done with my multimeter demonstrates that this controller has a much better buck charge than the cheap pwm controller I was comparing it to. The device has polarity protection as well. Price is right and the product seems to be well constructed.

Each of my two pets has a separate cage The 10 amps and the 3 amps I recently purchased 20 of these charge controllers and they are the best I have purchased in over a decade as they are small, compact, and 100% waterproof. I appreciate the silicone based material in which these are sealed, very similar to how electronics were sealed in auto parts It's exactly what I've heard they work great I tested this with my multimeter it's exactly what they advertise it's a great product that should last for The fact that these charge controllers are waterproof and that they can tolerate high temperatures and also low temperatures is also appealing to me. It is easy to set up these charge controllers programming is not required.

This is an exceptionally nice unit and is probably weatherproof since it is epoxy on the inside. The battery is used up all night when I use it and it does not seem to stop protecting The BAT LED is blinking (the BAT LED). When you wake up, the battery does not automatically charge. Every morning, I have to go through the process of resetting it, since my "automatic" system does not work. If there's another one to try, I'd like to try that. In response to my query on 9/6/2020, the seller responded very quickly and tried to help as soon as they were contacted. It takes a lot of effort on their part. Our team works out all the details to help me fix my issue. The seller is very trustworthy and reliable. I would give this 5 stars without any reservations
