My motorhome is equipped with a DIY mobile solar array made out of this. Based on a few flexible 100-watt panels, it can operate reliably. It was a 30 amp controller so I could possibly add four panels if there was a need for it. The bulk charging of my battery was complete by noon, up in the high desert near Bend Oregon on a cloudy 72 degree morning. My choice of this controller is because it has three charging stages, solid construction, a battery temperature sensor and a remote monitor. There are probably cheaper controllers out there. It will take time to determine whether this purchase has been successful, but I am satisfied with it so far.
It tracks the solar power perfectly (and quickly) and uses the best voltage to get the best performance. There seems to be a fast response time. Compared to a pwm charge controller, this really pays for itself in better power output. My pwm controller was compared to this charge controller and I found that it was superior.
The learning process was very difficult, as I had to learn how to use the interface and what they all did and the sequence in which they should be used. I now have it working, though.

Even though I am pleased with the capabilities and versatility of this item, I am unimpressed with the quality of the maker ship. When you tighten the set screws that hold the wires on the equipment, they become soft and cannot be untightened and tightened again because they become brittle and come apart.
The app told me how many amps my solar panels were putting out, how many volts they produced. The app told me all that I needed to know, so I don't have to wonder about anything when I get up in the morning.
