As the "standard" model, the $1099 generator is the "standard" model, and as the "companion" model, the $1199 generator is the companion In order to use a companion generator you need to already own a standard model and want to link them together so that one generator can produce more than 2200 watts. The maximum continuous power that can be used in a standard US 110v 20amp outlet is 2000 watts (up to 2200 watts peak power, When you connect both generators together, you can use the 30 amp receptacle on the companion generator to power equipment that requires more power than is provided by a standard 110 volt, 20 amp outlet (think about a An arrangement like this wouldn't be common in a standard house unless you have an electrical panel with special receptacles for powering several breakers at once. It is normal for RVs to be powered by 30 or 50 volt outlets to power everything in the vehicle, including the AC unit which typically draws more than 2000 watts continuously.
It is irrelevant to the parallel operation of the generator whether the model is named TAG or not. A generator without CO that was previously manufactured as part of the EU2200i model Honda is introducing a new model, having Bluetooth® connectivity and MINDERTM functionality. It is referred to as EU2200ITA. In the case of an updated model that has the carbon monoxide detection system and Bluetooth connectivity to a smartphone app, the model name has been extended with a G.
When the Eco Throttle is on, the noise level is 57 dB(A) when run at maximum load (1800W) and 48 dB(A) at 1/4 load (450W).
Usually, consumers can benefit more from the EU2200ITAG solution than the EU2200IG, unless full GFCI protection for the 120V outlet is required to comply with OSHA safety regulations for jobsite installations. Honda's EU2200ITAG generator features parallel operation outlets that allow users to increase power output if needed, and Bluetooth® connectivity so users can control their generators from smartphones. Generators with neither of these important features are available with the EB2200ITAG Industrial generator.

I ran my fridge/freezer for an hour on a trial run right after I turned it on. It works well for showing you the draw, but I wish it would also show you the fuel level, but I really like that it keeps track of your maintenance windows. I hope this generator is quieter than my non-inverter 6000 watt generator that we used to run our house just recently for a week, I hope I can use it for my farm and ongoing emergency.
The only inverter generator with a rated output of exactly 1800 watts is this one. One thing that makes this unit unique is that it has exactly the same output power as a 15-amp.
A couple benefits of this product are its light weight, ease of disassembly for maintenance, and the Bluetooth capability to turn it off and display the status on my phone.
In case of a storm, I buy this to link my generators to my house and run the basic functions of my house. I chose to buy two 2200 instead of one 3000 because of the Bluetooth functionality for keeping track of hours and oil life. Compared to buying the two separately, the price was similar, but you got more power when you bought them It is my hope to be able to run what I need when I need it on the two EU2200s!.
When we are hunting in our tent, the Bluetooth app is really helpful to switch off the generator. The autostart option would be greatly appreciated on this model from Honda. If I had that feature, I would probably pay an additional $500. As of now, I have the generator hooked up to an external fuel tank and it is operational as it should be. My table saw, however, has never been used with it since I only ran a few power tools. There is really nothing negative that I can say.
On the right is one that is 2 years old, and because Honda makes its vehicles so easy to maintain, it looks brand new as does the companion There's no way they will not hardly work together. . . as in they have no difficulty running the following at the same time a 13,500 BTU air conditioner, a full-sized refrigerator, and a 65 inch Samsung It still doesn't seem to rev up when I use the microwave. However, I have Nakaamichi's Surround Sound System running on my PlayStation 5.
bought it specifically because it had a manual pull start. The electric start is convenient up until you have to start it again after it has been sitting on the shelf for months or years. Bluetooth functions as a novelty, but it can also serve a purpose. will allow you to monitor the load, not precisely, but enough to make sure it isn't overloaded. It will also let you know when the oil needs to be changed.
Although it does an excellent job, it doesn't take much time to learn. There is a Dometic Cfx in my house There is a 95dzw file that eats up a great deal of energy. It runs for hours on this generator. I wish it had a 12 V outlet, USB port and a gas gauge, though. Apart from that, it was typical Honda quality, so I appreciate that.
