Questions & Answers

My ph would only ever need to go down and I would never need to go Would you mind telling me how I can buy just a single bottle of Ph Down?

It depends what you plan to use it for, but if it's for plants you will most likely be trying to raise the pH, since most everything is in of PH down, and only around a quart of PH down, you won't need a whole lot

I'm trying to lower the pH, but is it important to add a little of the PH up along with the PH down when doing this?

Yes, you do not ever want to use ph up and ph down in the same container, it's either ph up or ph down, one or the other because you will sabotage your plants if you put both up and down together. Your pH may have dropped too much in that case so either add some more nutrients or add some In the event that you made a mistake and brought it down, simply start over and remember what you did wrong not to make that mistake Because of the strength of the stuff, add small drops at a time. My method of use is to drip it. In cases where my ph is acidic at 5 or by the color chart I add ph up by drops like one or two, shake it and wait a bit. Once it has set, check the ph and add what is needed by small amounts. However, you should not add both to a container at the same time. product is very useful when it comes to keeping your plants safe

In what both the pH up and pH down is chemically composed?

The chemical composition of the product cannot be answered by me. Water here on the West Coast is almost perfect at 5 degrees Celsius - I live near Washington. This is either a 5 or a There will be little that is needed to drive the pH up or down (a few drops). There is no doubt that this product works. If your water's pH is too high or too low, nutrients will sediment out and not be able to be used by the plant. Do a Google search on " How to change your water's pH " and you'll find a lot of information. The best way to take care of your plants is to purchase Since I no longer use this product, the first thing to do is to determine the PH of the water in your home. You will benefit from this. I wish you the best of

Would you be able to list ingredients with percent. I appreciate your kind words! ?

It is a trade secret as to the exact amounts, however the MSDS on this stipulates The concentrations of phosphoric acid are 10 - 20 The following percentages apply to ammonium dihydrogenorthophosphate A 10 percent concentration of citric acid is The Dyna- mo is 10% cheaper than the Dyna- Down on g ro ph, there are In the blend of these acids, phosphoric acid H3PO4 is 33% while nitric acid HNO3 is *br>It should be noted, however, that some of these ingredients are beneficial. * Bremelin - The nitrogen *br>P- Potassium - K- This acid contains potassium and phosphoric acid As its name implies, ammonium dihydrogenorthophosphate provides the following properties Citric acid is an acid that contains nitrogen and phosphorus The pH is lowered, but nothing else useful happens. I could not find any form in which it can be used. It's made of oxygen and hydrogen. This substance delivers the following benefits I think both products seem to offer a similar level of Dynamic - Costs for grow are half of what they are for bo.

There is only one thing I can say, I need more of it
5/5

I like how this works. Because of that, I have to lower the PH of our water for the average plant I might try to grow. The number of five needs to be increased. I usually have a water temperature of 5 to 6, and my air is about 7 or 8. It is recommended that you buy a PH meter. There is one available on Amazon that is excellent. There is no better way to describe it it's yellow with black cap, digital, and accurate as hell. If you do that, you'll be able to get your PH to within a hundredth of what you need. As soon as you get comfortable with the amounts and how much nutrient solution that you are using, it is easy to just pour a little in and know what pH your solution is going to be. If you are still getting used to the measuring spoon, you should use a cheap one. A pair of gloves would also be useful. You should be aware that this corrosive stuff is acidic (at least the pH down is), and if it gets on your hands it's a few steps down from battery acid. As a matter of fact, none of you want it in their When using it, don't forget to watch out for splash back! You may wish to consider wearing glasses if you are new to this procedure.

It's easy to use, very convenient, and a little goes a long way, excellent for adjusting PH down to lower levels! There is a PH of 7 in my well water
5/5

In the end, I had to reduce that to a maximum of 5 to reach my target area. It took me 2 hours to set up The general rule for me is never to purchase pre-owned Mix products like these because there is extra water in the product and you are paying for the extra weight. However, I looked at several straight acid products and was going to buy a large amount of that that would have made my life easier for years to come. It was for the following reasons that I did not do that, but went with this *** * * Straight acids contain a large amount of concentration, so you must dilute them before use Make sure you mix or dilute small quantities before putting them in your system to avoid *** * * As part of a balanced PH adjustment procedure, we have used more than one acid formula to formulate this PH Down product. In terms of how much you should use, there is no fixed It is because everyone's source water varies, the size of your system changes, and nutrients can change PH as well, so that's why it is best to begin I mixed up about 2 ounces of PH down and checked the PH after mixing thoroughly in my small 30 gallon system. Measure according to the PH pen or with an other tool that is calibrated. Make sure you don't dump too much in your nutrient take as it can cause some nutrients, especially magnesium and calcium, to precipitate out, becoming My husband and I continue to use this product because I find it useful and convenient, especially if only small changes are required to PH. My review is intended to be helpful, so I would appreciate you clicking the yes button below if it did. I appreciated it!.

We offer services that are effective, reliable and affordable

A hydro system cannot function without it. I am very pleased with this product. It does everything it says on the box! Efficiencies are high as well! The product comes in 3 bottles with pH-balanced water In the positive pH range Test the pH of the solution by going down to the basement. (Comes with a vial to conduct pH testing in AND a pipette, which I think is very cool. I was assuming they did not provide one, but General Hydroponics gives you everything you need to make this an easy and quick process. )

I tested it The solution is not accurate, and I wondered if there is a way to check it. A color scale is used to indicate acidic or basic solutions, with pink being acidic and dark green being basic. On the back of the bottle is a scale! This will prevent it from getting lost. Based on what I have seen in my basic testing, the test solution appears to be There is no confusion and no ambiguity about the color changes based on the scale given. The color 0 is yellow, and the color 7 is red. Both were green, and they match my pH meter (but don't expect an exact pH pH should not exceed 3 or something, this kit will keep pH within a safe range. With the assistance of a pH meter, you can get the pH you desire, but I am judging this on whether or not a user did not have access to a pH meter. )The acid solution is very effective, which is a plus, since you don't want to use a lot of product and end up needing more later on. This is the 1- you should use You should drop three drops at a time and wait 20 minutes, depending on the flow of water and the size of the container, before doing another test. Do not overshoot, always undershoot The product will be saved and the solution will be prevented from being too acidic/basic. It takes some time but, eventually, you'll learn the power of the acid/base solutions and won't need to second guess whether you have put on too much In summary, this is a must for anyone who works in hydroponic gardening, whether they are a hobbyist or A pH meter is nice, but it is worth remembering that sometimes the calibration can be off and another method like that offered in this kit is a good insurance policy. My favorite way to test my solutions is to test both with a pH meter and a test solution. That way, I can be sure my solution is within the ideal The battery is likely to last a year or even more depending on the size of the system. It is recommended you use this testing solution sparingly and maybe play with different acid/base solutions in order to see what the ACTUAL color of the liquid will look like as a result of If you put vinegar in the vial, you could drop some test solution and note its result. Upon seeing this color, you will see a bright pink hue. By adding some of the base solution to the vial, you will see the vial's color change. Take a look at this first, before you mess with your actual solution to get a sense of This is the reason why I give 5 stars Pricing, reliability, longevity of use, and ease of use are all important factors. There is no doubt that General Hydro is the "big boss" of hydro companies and they are very experienced in what they do. So far, all of the products I have purchased have been.

best of the best
5/5

I was very pleased with the kit it did exactly what I expected. Additionally, people please read the instructions, you only need a few drops of test solution per test, don't waste your sample putting 10 drops into the tube, like you see in a lot of the misinformed videos on the internet. In the same way, your pH should be high & stable Do not add too much base or acid so you don't lock out nutrients! Bring your pH down to a threshold where you are adjusting marginal amounts only.

I find it to be very useful
5/5

There is nothing to worry about with this product. Watering plants that need about a ph of 6 can be lowered with apple cider vinegar by using it in place of tap water. The call is for 5 p. m. About 7 gallons of water are in my tank. Water number 2 is on the alkaline end of the spectrum and is good Plants, however, need about six ounces of water per day. The pH should be between 5 and 7, because nutrients are absorbed at a pH below 7. It was my fault for watering the newly planted seed 3 times with sink water before testing its pH with tap water. It's a long story, but I could not lower the pH level. By diluted vinegar and water, the solution would reduce to about six parts vinegar to one part water However, Apple Cider Vinegar does not greatly affect the ph of soil when tested with a soil ph kit. I put about 1 cup one time and it worked. It dropped to like 5 ph in 2ml of water and 2ml of 2ml of 2ml of 2ml. As soon as I watered it with more water until it reached about 6 ph, I put it on my soil/pot mix, and after about 3 minutes I was getting On paper, the test did not do green at all.

I ordered like a quart. It should last 10 years or so
What I noticed is once this drops the pH of something it is rather difficult to bring it back. I like that as well, and it seems to disperse well in whatever you use it with. As long as it is absorbed, it can stabilize the pH of anything.
