Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how long the shelf life of the product is?

Despite storing a bag of sprouts on my kitchen shelf for 6 months, the sprouts grow well when I use them. (The seeds do not dry out in the bag, so I keep it closed.

What are the GMO-free certifications for these seeds?

Unless you're a farmer with a contract with a seed company, you can't buy any GMO seeds for any plane. Marketing of GMO-free seeds by seed companies selling to home gardeners is nothing more than fear mongering, given that virtually all seeds sold to homeowners are free from genetically modified organisms. There is also the obvious fact that GMOs are usually safer than organic foods.

Todd's alfalfa seeds are organic, but what about other seeds?

It is unclear whether the sprouting seeds at Todd's Seeds are all certified organic, but I have purchased organic alfalfa and broccoli seeds.

What does a seed look like? Are you checking them for pathogens ?

As a result of the possibility of bacteria or fungus growing in the same environment, I have been hesitant to buy sprouts or make my own. My sprouts will be consumed fast, mostly in the form of omelettes, so I don't have to worry about them drying out. It's so good to eat egg foo yung for breakfast.

In addition to the seeds, this package contains My pioneer woman phase is long gone, but I did a lot of sprouting when I was in it
5/5

Life stepped in, so I quit the farm to pursue other matters. Suddenly, I am retired and cleaning out the kitchen cabinets when I discover I have a 40-pound bag of clothes The sprouting kit is at least a year old. As much as we all know, 40 years is a long time to forget what you know, but since alfalfa sprouts are one of those disappearing products in all of my supermarkets, why not try sprouting my own alfalfa seeds? It took two days for my seeds to arrive after I ordered them. As soon as I started soaking some in water, the next day I spread them out in my sprouter under a damp cloth and protected them. I lost some of my memory at that point. One of those funny emails with a bunch of letters and numbers as the sender caught my attention just as I was getting ready to start looking for instructions online Having been trained by my daughter to delete without opening, I delete these without However, I ended up opening it instead for some reason. to God, the Universe made me do it. This is when I made my great You can get an added bonus when you shop at this Amazon seller, since Todd is offering to sprout your alfalfa seeds. The only thing Todd seems to be concerned with is making customers happy above all else. The first email he sent was a friendly follow-up to ensure your seeds arrived in good shape and in a timely manner. Aside from signing his name, he also gave his address. The phrase "your customer service team" should not be generic. However, there was no real name on the card. There is actually a copy of the message that lets you reply if you're audacious enough to hit the "reply" button. So I emailed him back the very next day, and I got a reply answering all my questions and responding to what I'd written in such a way that I knew he had REALLY read my email. Now, I'm not sure how your experience was. The answer is yes, you. This review is being read by you. However, I have just become old enough to appreciate a person who responds to me in a personal way, even if it is through some impersonal means like the internet or Is it possible for me to be happy? Yes, of It hasn't taken me long to establish a nice little rhythm and I have sprouts going in staggered stages so that one batch is ready to use when I am finished with the previous one. In order to do this, I added a new, more modern sprouter to the rotation. I followed Todd's advice in choosing which one to purchase. This review is separate from the one for the UI. What is most important here is the level of customer service. I would give this site the maximum 5 stars regardless of the seeds I order from it. I think that this is more than Amazon's 5 star limit for reviews. It's almost time to purchase another batch of seeds, and I think I'm going to consider getting the larger bag.

You can already smell the freshness of the seeds! After soaking the seeds in my sprouting jar for a few minutes, washing and rinsing them, and setting the jar next to my window in my kitchen, I started sprouting these seeds
5/5

I usually start sprouting seeds around a tablespoon at a time. Two to three times a day for a few days, I rinsed them until they began to fill my jar. I split them up into two jars to give them more space to grow, and I had success. I began consuming these sprouts on day four and rinsed them every day but they continued to grow. These seeds are much fresher than what I can buy locally, and I found that I can use about half of what I usually use because about 100 percent of the seeds sprouted. It is highly recommended that these seeds be grown.

The plants are doing A lot of seeds grow well in these soils
5/5

This is the first sprouter I didn't buy. All I use at home is what I already have, from the stainer to the Here are pictures of the progress made so far (Day4 is missing). My seller did a good job of reaching out to their customers. The seller sent me emails about storing and growing the product before it arrived. However, I do have one question about my sprouts. After day five, I see only one sprout. The size of the screen is 5 inches. What is the reason for this? Is it a lack of high enough temperature? I hope you enjoy your seeds and sprouts! My purchase has been a great experience! Thank you! It was a pleasure working with you, Todd.

It seems my seeds have been harmed in some way The sprouts, growth, and odor are poor
3/5

The idea of leaving a bad review makes me angry. My experience sprouting alfalfa seed has been excellent, and I have done it a lot. My previous purchases of Todd's Seeds produced outstanding results, so I was very happy with them. This is a fantastic name) as well as an amazing result. It was a bad bag of alfalfa seeds, but I've never used these before. The fright is just too much. It took me three tries to get them to work. In addition to having a low sprouting percentage, slow sprouting, slow growth, cloudy water, and bad smell issues, the seeds have (and I am really being generous here) only a 20% sprouting rate and take forever to sprout and This is something I could work around, but the main reason I feel compelled to leave it a bad review is that every time I "watered" the seeds, the water was always cloudy, and the sprouts smelt awful. You've done something completely out of character. The chickens and birds are so scary to me the I don't even know what to do with the seeds. My observations of the seeds do not suggest they are coated with anything like another reviewer reported. They look exactly like the other seeds I grow well and that do not have any coating. The water gets clouded and smelly every time I water the seeds or something prevents them from sprouting or growing. I have no idea what causes it to happen. My love for sprouts calls for a repeat attempt However, next time perhaps you should try a different seller?.

Seeds that are clean, affordable, and no frills
5/5

You will not find any nonsense here. I just love how well it works. Like farmers markets, they conduct their business in such a way that makes sense to me. Their goal is to keep the cost low so they provide instructions and questions There are no instructions on the website. So I am not complaining about that. I love it. The information I get from the Internet is easy for my 6 years old to understand. It is difficult for someone like me to handle it, let alone an adult. There is a lot of cleaning and no frills involved in these Growing them in Mason jars is what I do. A few tablespoons of this sprouted into a massive pan of sprouts within 5 days, like in the photo. Prepare them first by soaking them overnight, then place them in Rinse them and drain them 3 times a day, and be sure to lay them down flat on their sides like the pictures show. My last day of work was putting the pieces together and sun-drying In addition to those two jars, I had to add three more jars in the end. This is lovely. The most lovely thing ever. We do business the right way. There are just great seeds here, nothing fanciful, but the work! It was the same seller who sold me both types. Still have a lot of seeds to sprout, so I'm thinking of buying more.

Money wasted, what a waste
3/5

Reviewers on Amazon had given this product glowing reviews, so I purchased it. It was very fast for the order to arrive. Despite that, the alfalfa seeds I got failed to grow. The seeds just swelled in water a few days after starting the sprouting process, despite following the instructions without fail. The sprouts did not appear at all. This left me feeling very Because this is not a returnable item, I tried to get back my money but was unable to.
