Due to the nature of the plant, it is highly likely to die if it is shipped during the winter. When succulents freeze, they are as good as dead, since they are full of water. If you want them to live, shipping during a snow storm and when the water may freeze is not a good idea.

There are a lot of bad reviews that I wish I had paid attention to. Gardening is my hobby, and I am very good at it. This is the first time I've ever received plants in such poor condition. This has been a very disappointing experience. The planters and similar items I bought specifically for this order are also special. I also find the pots and plants to be small. There are only a few of them. I was not pleased with the packing. It is hard to tell the difference between these succulents and the ones In the pictures you can see how large the plant is compared to the pot it is in, and how vibrant its colors are. A price of $18 would never have been acceptable to me. It would have cost me 99 for these four tiny little plants if I had known how small and badly packed they were. Plants are packaged in a tiny box with a heating pad at the bottom to prevent them from getting cold, but the plants are covered in shredded paper that keeps them from being able to stay in place and dirt accumulated There is soil around the roots of two of the plants and they are on top of the soil in the pot, as if the plants never were securely enclosed in the pots when they were shipped. You definitely cannot beat these succulents for the price. They arrived in pretty good shape and on time. I had to clean them up a bit and fill up the soil a bit, but overall, they worked When I received them, I watered them and let them sit in the Texas sun for a few hours. Crinkle paper was very well used to package this product. I loved them ALL, none of them were broken, messed up in the least. All 20 varieties, very different from each other too, with no problems at all!.
