This was a temporary headstone for my father's grave until we could get a permanent one. My father died unexpectedly, and it would be an understatement to say that his death was difficult. This plaque was reasonably priced, arrived quickly, and was of excellent quality. The plaque was well-protected by bubble wrap, which was excellent packaging.
It's well-made. It was something for which we took a stand. I got this to tide me over until the tombstone arrives. We're likely to keep it up because we like it so much. It took a while for the package to arrive, but it was well worth the wait!.
I ordered four of these stones from a different company (they were out of stock) - Before shipping, that business sent me an email requesting my approval. This firm did not do so (despite my expectations). Because I've ordered it before in both the text scripts 'fancy' and 'normal,' the stone I received has fancy script. 'Old standby' The 'old standard tt' is what I prefer - From a distance across a room, it is much clearer and readable. When I was designing this stone, I assumed the script would be what I was looking at (this merchant didn't offer a script type option), and the advertisement says: "The preview shown is a rough estimate. " NOT TRUE. If I'd gotten a request for approval via email - I would have been able to specify which script type I preferred to the merchant. Because I gave my son's best friend the one I had written in the 'Old Standard tt' script. I placed an order for two in the 'fancy print' (for myself). The script did not appeal to my mother. I'd like one in the 'old standard tt' script for myself. I gave the ones with the "fancy text" script to family members, and I'll do the same with this one. The headstone for this rating can be seen on the right. They're both nice, but reading the 'fancy text' script type requires getting up close to it - the common denominator that can be read from across a room.
This is a very nice marker at a reasonable price; however, the measurements should be noted. It isn't excessively large. It's a nice little memorial, but it's not large enough to be a major memorial. br>br>The photo should last a lifetime because it is etched in. br>br>Because the photo is etched in, your color image will be converted to black and white, so make sure your photo has a lot of contrast so it will translate well to the etching. Even though we used an old, blurry, low-resolution photo, it turned out fine. br>br>I'm guessing they're manually setting up the photo because it turned out better than I expected based on the quality of ours. br>br>Once you place an order for a marker, it is usually processed within a few days. However, because it was shipped from another country, delivery could take several weeks.
Wow, I'm impressed. I received the memorial plaque that I created for my mother in 14 days, and it looks fantastic. The quality is comparable to that of any high-end store, so if you're considering purchasing this item, do so. You will not be disappointed, and the seller responded to my emails promptly and shipped it the next day.

I ordered two plates; the photos are more opaque than what is shown here, which is unfortunate because one plate arrived broken, and the good news is that they arrived ahead of schedule!.
The photo turned out to be of excellent quality. The plaques were bubble wrapped tightly to keep them safe, and the price for the stones was excellent. Negative is the only option. is that the shipping costs were excessive. It cost $75 to order five of them. 00 ( $15. 00 each). They all came in one box, and I'm not sure they paid $75 for them. It will cost you $0. 00 to ship it.
