A maximum of 1" under! It was very helpful to have a customer support representative who knew what I needed. There is some undersizing in some of the items of good quality. Rather than 10" width at the bottom, I believe the 10" is at the wider top. This is not a big deal unless you are really in need of 10" bottoms, then I would not recommend it. My issues were handled quickly, so I cannot express any negative opinions. I would highly recommend this It's important to state the facts as they are. Fits a 5 inch pot, but not a 7 inch one

I have a 5 inch pot, but the saucers are too narrow to fit it on the bottom, even though they indicate they're 6 inches wide. would assume I overlooked the dimensions with the saucer. The top of the saucer is 6 inches, but the bottom is 4 inches, so it is my own fault for not taking them into account. I am 7 inches tall.
