Questions & Answers
The gates stand 42" tall at their tallest point and sit about 4" above the lower side crossbag.
53"W x 22 3/4"D x 84"H is the size of the arbor with gate.
Yes. In addition to the arbor with the gates, I have a simple arbor. The arbor without the gates is less stable, but it has the same sides.
I wouldn't use it on tile because the legs are metal and could scratch the surface. You might be able to find something to cover the legs with. I think it's lovely and would suggest it.

At the beginning of our pathway, we built a gated arbor. Assembling it was a breeze. To secure it to our slightly slanted pathway, we used rebar and clamps. After assembly, we applied a second coat of paint for added rust protection. When operating the latch, the screw that holds it in place keeps coming loose. By adding an extra nut to the latch attachment, we can make it work.
This is fantastic. The unit is simple to put together. Great product, and I'm looking forward to having my roses covered.
This arbor/gate is one of my favorites. However, one screw that connects the gate was missing, and one screw was the wrong size; we were almost finished assembling it when we realized it, and had to go find other screws that'sort of' worked. It's a huge pain. It's also a little shaky, swaying sideways even when staked firmly in place. To help with this problem, we'll add more support around the base. Aside from that, it's absolutely stunning!.
Absolutely lovely, and despite the lack of written instructions, it was simple to put together. br>I'd buy it again.
You appear to be in good shape. The quality, on the other hand, isn't up to par. One of the leaves was broken when it arrived, but the rest of the package was undamaged. The hinges don't have any assembly instructions.
It is more expensive than the others, but it is well worth the money. Our patio's entrance has been transformed.
The gates, particularly the latch, are not very sturdy. It's probably fine for garden decorations, but not for keeping things out. The gates are elevated from the ground, and the design is open on the bottom, allowing small dogs, cats, raccoons, and other animals to pass through easily. To close the larger areas, we installed better/stronger hinges, a better latch, and a fence section on the bottom of each gate. I really like it now that we've made the necessary changes and adjustments. br>We also purchased a second one to use as a front door without the arch. We modified the gates to make them much better for a little extra security. br>It's hard to find a gate that's wide enough, so this was perfect. I also wanted to use the tree of life design to pay tribute to my recently deceased husband.
