It is a pity that I couldn't get along with these, as I wanted to like them. The clamps are inexpensive, but I would at least like them to do what they claim, which is to clamp and enlighten. These clamps did not stay in place right out of the box. It doesn't matter what I clamp them to, they're just falling over. A very disappointing experience. It is not true from experience, and I have other products from this company that work great, so I assumed that this one would as well. They are the perfect solution for a light box setup that I have. Two are on either side and one is on top, and they are both It is nice to have the clamp style for making a permanent frame for my setup as well as for the ease of moving them around. As with everything we purchased, they were extremely easy to assemble. The factory package was good, and they were super sturdy when There is no ceramic socket or a basic construction on these, so they are not meant for heat bulbs of any kind. There will be a few more of these purchases in the future and I recommend them.

Because they are made primarily of aluminum or tin, they are completely reflective. It is also awesome how you can maneuver the lamp in 360 degrees up down left right and all over the place. I have also been using it along with the reptile lamp from Vivosun, but pointing it at my baby plants to keep them warm. I think they have a short cord, maybe like 6 feet in length An extension cord extends 7 feet, but that's why we have them. Not a lot to complain about. Basically, they do what they were designed to do.

A 100 watt ceramic heater kept the whelping box at 82 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the night. Although I had to take extra precaution not to burn myself while moving the lamps, they were safe to move. I am most unhappy with the fact that the bell shapes have detached on both I believe the problem could have been due to the high heat bulbs I was using, but it could have been avoided if it had been designed better to prevent it.
