The pots I used to start seeds are now filled with plants. I placed the peat pots in the ground and covered them with dirt after the plants sprouted, and left the pots that weren't planted out in the yard. It takes about two to three weeks for the peat pot to start decomposing. Therefore, don't let them sit outside too long if you plan to plant them in the ground.

Great value for your My cup is thinner than some others I've seen and doesn't retain nearly as much water in the walls as others I've seen. In addition to the three drainage holes around the bottom edge, they provide extra drainage for excess water. Seeds are sprouting in them right now for a Spring garden that I am planning. I would likely buy from them again.

The sizes range from two to two and a half inches. They are the same as my 3 inch pots, so I bought them because I loved them. However, the pots are not 3 inches long, they are 2 1/2 inches long. There were only a few I needed, so I have plenty to last for several years. The seeds are just like what you get if you purchase a plant that is already growing. Plants of greater size can be easily removed from wrapping, dried, and then ripped open to be placed in a container.

They are so small that you can hardly fill them with soil, and they won't be able to grow! As well as the cardboard, it is too strong. It takes way too long for it to disintegrate when planted in soil. As a result of root bound plants, they become stunted.
