Buying this kit was a good idea, since I wanted to grow plants whose roots don't like to be If you want a plastic starter kit, opt for one that snaps shut at the sides or choose There may be some correlation with my climate, but one set of the smaller trays was in a room with a humidifier light, while the other was downstairs with normal air circulation and a low level of With top misting, both trays were constantly drying out, so I followed the directions the kit came with and added water to the plastic tray for the peat pots to soak in for an hour. It took half the day for the pots to dry so I had dry pots My first attempt at misting was a failure. My intentions of watering from the bottom eventually led to mold on the pots after just three days. In order to transplant my seedlings into plastic, I had to transplant all of them. The use of peat pots is never again an option for me. There were other items that I liked in the kit as well, and that's why it only got a 3 out of 5. In conclusion, it is impossible to keep seedlings moist enough in peat pots without causing Keep your seedlings alive by adding a little perlite top-up, and you'll work doubly hard. (also, I used Miracle Grow.
It's been one week and now I am seeing life! Soon, they will be ready to be transplanted into the tiny pots and I plan to repot them as they grow. Here are some flower seeds you can use in the pictured tree.
As with the gloves that O wore, mine also fit well on my hands. However, J attempted to wear it.
For the money, this is a decent little kit. This is the right size for one or two Roma tomato seedlings I have and I need to start them soon. **The markers are too tall if the tray tops are in place.
I highly recommend it, and I will definitely purchase it again.
My goal was to find some peat pots with a tray to transplant seedlings I had started using I was very satisfied with the result. It would have been nice if the trays were a little more sturdy, but if you put the clear plastic lid underneath the tray it provides just enough support. I liked the marking sticks, too.
As far as I can tell everything looks excellent, only problem is the lids are too small and don't quite snap on like they should. The solution isn't perfect, but it will I wish that I had purchased another set of the small biodegradable starter terracotta pots. Especially nice are the large ones, the amount of them is really good.
It was delivered within a short time frame. As new and in perfect condition as it was supposed to be. The user interface is easy to use. It is possible to use the plastic containers for years to come.
