Questions & Answers

If the light is attached to the stand, will two trays with 36 cells fit under it? Two trays together are 22". ?

I could fit one 50 cell tray in there. A 48 cell tray would mean having to turn them several times a day to ensure that every plant received equal amounts of light and to prevent plants from becoming

Do you think you can replace the bulbs on your own? Would you be able to get them from somewhere?

It is not possible to replace individual LEDs on your own.

Do the bulbs need to be replaced after several years or are they able to last for a longer amount of time?

The bulbs will weaken over time, but the lamps should be pretty close to their original power or spectrum for about two years. The battery lasts for 3 years (if used normally). You should replace your fluorescent bulbs pretty much every year, or you can switch to LED bulbs to get a 2-year lifespan The last time they were out of them was 3 years ago.

This is an excellent light panel
4/5

This is a decent stand. It is a good price. Aerogarden LED panel failed, and I could not get it to work after replacing capacitors and power supplies. In the end, I decided to keep the lower pump and reservoir, but I added These exact same panels are available at Aerogarden for about 25% more than they are at Aerogarden without the privilege of Prime A total of three panels have been ordered. The items were in good condition when they arrived. linked to a HEYGO Wifi Smart Plug so that a timer could be added. The pros include Light output is excellent and the spectrum is attractive. The units all worked at the time of delivery. They were cost-effective and produced minimal heat in the air below the lights. In addition, the legs could be raised and lowered without problems, and the light base could be tilted to a The cons are This may seem odd, but *0 stars) The plastic legs are flimsy and can be both twisted and spread out with little effort. The two base feet are not very stable. As a result, this base probably won't be disturbed much and, once in place, will perform as expected. Observations and recommendations *Improve the design of the base Does making feet heavier or wider make them stronger and wider? Is it possible to reinforce the bottom with cross braces? Would it be better if we used triangular anchors at the top or something similar to increase A new timer function has been added, as well as cable management to the LED panel, which will be updated in six months to indicate whether the LED panel has endured Edit

The device is still working well after a daily timed usage of 18 hours per day for one year and a half.

After two years, I now own three of them
4/5

I have no reservations about recommending them! A while back I bought the first one so I could start vegetables indoors from seeds. Before, I used two smaller grow lights that were all red and blue LED lights with a harsh purple glare that made it difficult to focus. The following were some reasons why it was a welcome change of pace *** *** - It is easy to set up and quick. Once the legs are in place, attach the plug and you have completed the installation. It can be adjusted for height and angle. A light surface that can be tilted can be adjusted in height, leg height can be adjusted. It is also worth noting that despite the fact that red and blue lights are represented adequately, the glow of the grow light is white. Based on my experience, this is much more comfortable to look at than purple. There is adequate coverage in the coverage area. A total of six 4" starter pots or three 6" pots fit It has been a good experience. While there are lots of variables to account for, cherry tomatoes, pickling cucumbers, and buttercrunch lettuce have germination rates that have been faster, more successful, and produced healthier seedlings compared to those under conventional growing conditions. Believe that what you see is what you get. The first one I used has been used 10 times already Now, in our second year of using 12 hours/day, there has not been a problem. Has a minimal impact on the environment. I haven't had any issues with any of the others since then. There has been plenty of discussion of the main negative switch to turn it on or off. I must remember to pull the plug or set it so that it runs on I feel like this should be standard issue, but it's just a small inconvenience. A total of 3 were picked up.

You will need to buy a brand new one in case there are problems
3/5

I was really impressed with how this product performed. The microgreens I grew and seeds I started for my garden were planted with it. A problem with the power adapter prevented me from purchasing a new one and root farm refused to let me do that. As for me, I simply cannot afford to buy this product again since I already own a perfectly good LED setup I have no use for. I feel it is a waste of time.

This is the best lighting spectrum for growing and is extremely easy to adjust the height
5/5

I just wanted to let you know My desire to grow fresh herbs for my kitchen grew out of my experience as a cook, so that's what I decided to do. This is the first time I've really gone door to door this year (2018). Having no idea what I was doing, I purchased several gooseneck lamps and a variety of grow bulbs for my first few plants, but I eventually settled on the Miracle Grow bulbs, which were a bit more expensive than I liked at the time but worked well as I quickly realized that my narrow lights didn't provide enough light to cover all seedlings or transplants with my, "hobby. " As my hobby grew out of control, I realized that I needed bigger lights. Initially, I had 4, then 6, then 8 lamps that were fine for a tray of seedlings. However, as I transplanted the plants into larger pots I needed more and more lamps to cover them. It took me a long time to move the plants around so that the ones that needed more light were There was a lot of light for some and a lot of darkness for others. Therefore, I bought the Root Farm at the last minute. This light spreads light evenly over a large area, and it is easy to adjust the height to suit the plant from seedling to mature. I was able to see all the plants growing under the lighting, so I am certain it is excellent lighting for plants. The only complaint I have is that it does not set out low enough for some seedlings that require very intense light in the beginning A 10x20 empty tray flipped over and a seedling tray placed on top. By putting the seedling tray on top of that, the seedlings were raised about 2 1/2" closer to the light. After the seedlings have been transplanted into what I call small grow pots and have grown in height, the Root Farm adjusts higher and higher to ensure that the plants receive the same amount and type of light. Here are some of my earlier slow growers (basil, cucumbers and ), are so tall and have such broad leaves, that I have moved them out of the room to a As soon as I can afford to buy them, I'd like to buy one or two more of these.
