Our seeding heat mat was designed with waterproof construction, making it ideal for indoor planting conditions. It is built with a stronger heating wire and a thicker, multi-layer construction, providing more uniform heating and the durability to withstand tough greenhouse conditions.
Heat mats for seeds adopted by Seedfactor use the latest 7 technology. SJTW 5, high temperature resistant cylindrical SJTW 5 has a thickness of 5MM, and a temperature rating of 105 degrees. Power cord with a 9-foot length (tougher than the standard power cord, more durable, and resistant to high temperatures) is safer and more durable, and guarantees the stability of seedling mats.

Questions & Answers

The temperature & humidity levels of those mats are monitored by a thermal & humidity controller. What brand/model do you use? Does the controller have the capability to handle two mats at once?

A preset temperature range of 70 to 85 degrees is used on these mats. Unless you have an external controller, you won't be able to control the vehicle as accurately as you would like. Other models with a controller are available from the company (for a bit more). My experience with these mats is that they are perfect for potting seeds and I have been using them with great success for four months now. There are two in my propagating rack, one for each tray.

Are there any concerns about using this on laminate countertops?

At 70 to 80 degrees, it gets quite warm. It seems like my tabletop is in good condition. We've been together for 2 months now

Does anyone use these for keeping lithium or lifepo4 batteries at a high temperature?

Usually it can reach up to 87 degrees F, but it can also reach up to 90 degrees F occasionally. For example, you could try to purchase one and experiment with it, but if you plan to keep a battery from losing its charge in ) perhaps you want to consider a battery maintainer/float It is my hope that this helps you

An 80 gallon tank would be too big, so what size would be best?

It is possible to purchase heaters that fit inside aquariums. A hit on an aquarium would not be recommended. There is a possibility that it will start a fire. I hope this helps.

There was a malfunction with the A 10-inch x 20-inch two-sided poster was purchased In late January of next year, we will pack
3/5

It worked fine last year with both mats. There was a failure this year with one of the mats. Despite repeated attempts to shut off, it would not go The heat baked my new seedlings so badly that they could not be saved. I contacted the seller at least a week ago, just to add to what's already been said. In the event that the mat failed, I hoped for a replacement or a refund. I did not even receive a response.

As a matter of fact, there are 19 mats
3/5

These are the most terrible heat mats I have ever seen. They are 25" long (with 18" heating elements), do not lay flat, etc. I would never buy these. The item was too small
I bought it because of the size(10x20) and reviews, A 25" diameter). The actual heating elements are only 18" thick (see image below) when looking at the actual dimensions of the unit. There is no other explanation for this than dishonesty. This cord comes out the side rather than the end, and so it is not recommended that multiple trays be placed too close together. In addition, it is not flat on the mat and has several wrinkles that impair the contact between the mat and tray, particularly.

I love how it works! The menards store where I bought 2 heat mats offered them
5/5

My seeds did not do well in these trays (they were smaller than a 1020 tray), and they also heated too hot. These were sent to me when I first got them They seemed to be identical to what I had purchased in my local store. I have shown both mats in my photo, and you can see that they are very similar to each other. The mat on the ground is the one I bought from Menards and it is smaller and less sturdy than this one There is a qualitative difference in heat regulation between the Amazon mats and the mats that cover the whole I'm pleased so far with the results and the price.

It did not work for me, I did not get warm
3/5

There is no good here. Doe's not get warm enough so you can do things very cheaply. Since I have obtained many heat mats in the past, this is by far the worst quality I have ever seen. I will return You don't need to waste time and money on this consider a better So now I have to waste my time and gas to go back to the store to return them so it costs me about $10 in gas plus my time to take it back to UPS to have it sent back to Amazon. What a waste of time and money I could have just gone to the hydro store. It would also have been cheaper had I known I want to make sure that I got good quality. I was very unhappy with the service!.

I am very happy with the result! In Maine, you never know what seedling results you'll get
5/5

Therefore, I set this up in the garage (there is no space for seedlings in the house because of all the plants I bring in for the winter) and had no idea what to expect. The heating pad I received was great, and I did not have to worry about a malfunction because the temperature was just warm to the touch, just as I hoped for. With the addition of a grow light, I was amazed at the growth of the seedling. As great as this spring has been, I have never experienced anything like it before! There are few products that offer a better value for the price compared to this one! Additionally, its size is ideal for seedling trays. Our garage is a cold place, but this pad is a miracle worker. Don't wait until next spring!
Buy it now!.

For me, it was a great tool
4/5

Heat mats are helping me germinate vegetables for my garden, so I bought a bunch of them. It will be my first time starting seeds indoors rather than straight from the seed packet. I am experiencing a steadily decreasing growing season because our winters are getting longer. As a result, our basement receives very little direct sunlight and does not have any heat. As a result, I bought these to aid in my work. As you can see, there are several things to consider The germination trays I filled my basement nursery topped with domes were very useful. I found these heat mats to be very effective. A large amount of condensation is visible on the dome. The heat mats did not have any cold spots. So that I didn't have to water at all to get my plants to germinate, they helped to generate a lot of condensation. It was simply a matter of hydrating the soil before planting the seeds and the lights and heat mats did the rest. After the seeds germinated, it was almost as cold down in the basement as it was out. In the process of waiting for it to warm up enough to transplant, I did leave the heat mats on. There are a few issues or notes that I would like to mention. Despite the lack of a temperature gauge, this unit still works. There is either an on or an off switch. It would be nice if there were a timer on this unit. I know there were times when the basement heated up and the units did not need to be running. I went up and down the steps, but alas, eventually I reached the top. Furthermore, I would like to be able to plug these units in together for the same reason that light plugs were invented. A second concern is the boundary that will need to be created. The spark issue did not involve my units, but 1) they are not grounded, so I was always worried that they might slip out and 2) condensation would drip everywhere when lifting a dome. My primary concern regarding the pouring of water on the outlets was the impact. I think I will jerryrig something next year just to be on the safe side. As a whole, it turned out to be a smart purchase. It was around March'ish of 2021 when I bought 6 or 7 sets (of 2). As soon as the plants were ready to be transplanted (from 3 separate surge protectors that were fairly expensive and safe), I unplugged them all. The next year will be a great time to use them. There are just flat shelves inside the nursery where they are stored flat. In case they don't work, I will certainly let you know next spring. It remains to be seen how things turn out.

Plants grow as they warm up, but does this increase plant growth? Once I notice anything significant in my plants' growth, I will review this item with a 5 star rating
4/5

My main purpose of buying this product was to find pepper seeds to use for some work I've been doing. I have been testing this mat, and it seems to increase in temperature over time. Around 89 is the highest it has ever reached. F has the number seven. In that reading, I did not place any obstructions on top of the mat to help retain heat (just the mat on power mode, with a very small starter tray of pepper seeds lying on top of it). I don't feel uncomfortable when I sit on the mat The material is simply warm to the touch. (It's like holding a warm cup of coffee. ) It has taken me a long time to see any results from Having said that, I do not leave this on with the seed tray on top 24/7 because of concerns about Apparently, some consumers have experienced issues with overheating when using Another recommendation is to use a temperature sensor or control (or something similar). It was not fitted with a temperature control when I purchased it. My temperature monitoring gadget, however, is used just to get a basic understanding of how warm the mat is. While I do have the mat on, I check it every once in a while for safety reasons. With my laptop, I have not had any overheating issues.
