This is going to be fantastic: Globe Electric 5698601 Architect Desk Lamp with Heavy Base, 33. 86- Inch. A splitter or Par38 bulb can be used instead of the reflector. Because of the cost, I prefer the single Par 38 bulb. These are ideal for seeds and seedlings.br>br>
Hello, C. Chiang. It's safe to assume you'll get about 12 inches at 9 inches. The light has a diameter of 15 inches. Thank you for taking the time to read this.br> GE Lighting Customer Service br>br>GE Lighting Customer Service br>br>GE Lighting Customer Service br>br
This is an old question, and I'd like to respond in case anyone else believes this UVB light is suitable for any animal. To cut a long story short, DO NOT use this to meet the UVA/UVB needs of an animal. This isn't a UVB bulb, so don't get your hopes up. It is not stated anywhere that this is a UV emitting bulb. UVA and UVB light are not emitted by LED lights in general. Only florescent bulbs or specialty, high-intensity light bulbs should be used. At the moment, only high-end LEDs are capable of doing so. The full spectrum claim on the box refers to the color spectrum of the light (which includes red, blue, and white light), not the UVA and UVB output. Furthermore, the UV light requirements of birds, reptiles, and plants differ. UVB bulbs and lamps for birds from Zoo Med and Aracadia are excellent choices. Although some reptile UVB bulbs/fixtures can be modified for use with birds, if you are new to using this equipment, I would recommend sticking with the bird-specific equipment.
If at all possible, purchase a "full spectrum" or "grow light" fluorescent or bulb and mount it on the ceiling. Purchase a cord with a socket and hang it from the ceiling with a hook. Although less efficient, lighting from below is not uncommon. The BIG issue is that the leaves will face the light by turning DOWNWARDS. Plants seek the light by growing upwards! If at all possible, place it near a window with adequate light.

The light is fantastic and very bright. I was expecting to despise the "white light" look, but it's "grown" on me; It also gives the impression that the plants are in good shape. I haven't had the light long enough to compare it to other lights, but I will be purchasing more in the future.
THIS LIGHT ENTICES MY MONSTERA! br>br>During the day, my space has only medium light, and I was concerned that this big boi monstera would be unhappy. So, because I despised the traditional purple grow light, I went ahead and purchased this white grow light. br>br>I'm happy to report that my monster boi adores this light, and it has consistently provided me with new and healthy leaves for the past few months since I purchased it. My boi has never been burned by the light! br>br>I also use it as a source of additional light when the room is dimly lit. br>br>I notice that the price fluctuates a lot, so keep an eye on it. I'm going to get some more for my other plant babies in preparation for the winter. Overall, ten out of ten!.
In a dark corner of my living room, I have a 5' rubber tree. The light is set to turn on for 12 hours a day on a timer. The plant is doing well so far. It's sprouting new leaves, and the mature ones appear to be in good shape. This bulb has only been in my possession for a month, but it appears to be in good working order.
On a table in my living room, I keep several houseplants. I use plant lights in the form of standard floor task lamps that are aimed at the plants. This LED bulb produces light in the same way that a regular household lightbulb does. It produces less heat and produces a brighter, whiter light than traditional incandescent grow bulbs. Unlike many other led plant lights, it is not pink or purple in color. I use a timer to keep the lights on for about 10 minutes. Every day, I work for 12 hours. A typical incandescent plant bulb has a lifespan of only 2,000 hours, or about 6 months. This LED bulb is expected to last 25,000 hours, or about 5 years, and it consumes a fraction of the energy used by traditional bulbs. The obvious choice is this LED bulb.
I have a shelf of plants in a room that doesn't get much light, so I've been using the ceiling lighting, which has worked out well and my plants have survived. They, on the other hand, did not appear to be growing. Because it was a white light that would fit in the socket, I decided to purchase it. I have noticed some changes after leaving it on for about 5 hours a day. I notice that the plants are growing new leaves and reaching for the light. I'm sure I could get more growth if I moved the light closer to the plants, but at the very least, they won't die.
This was purchased to aid my countertop plants as well as the overall lighting in my home during the winter months. It's a lot nicer on the eyes than those overly blue "daylight" blubs, my mint plant loves it, and I know it'll be great to have overhead when we're down to 9 hours of very overcast daylight. I wish they came in the traditional bulb shape so I could use them in some of my floor lamps because they blend in perfectly with natural sunlight, making my kitchen appear naturally bright no matter how cloudy it is outside.
It appears to be in good condition. The light color is very nice. I wanted a bulb that was attractive but didn't have a lot of red or purple in it. I didn't want a bulky rectangle grow fixture with buzzing red LED chips, so this passes the test. br>br>I didn't want a bulky rectangle grow fixture with buzzing red LED chips. This time it's a resounding success. br>br>Seriously, this plant light bulb is the exact match for what I was looking for!.
