The planting trays are somewhat flexible, but not flimsy. But it's the bass that really makes a difference.
Pellet trays are approximately 1.25 inches in diameter. 5 inches across the diagonal Each hole in the large tray is 2 inches deep. I hope this has been of assistance.
The number of cells in each row is 2. 25"x2. 25"
It is dependent on the type of crop you are cultivating. However, I would multi-sow in a separate tray that was free of cells. The strongest seedlings should then be pricked out and placed in their own cells. Some flowers and herbs prefer to be multi-seeded, so I put two or three more seeds in each cell than is required, then remove the excess until the desired count is reached. Some flowers and herbs prefer to be in their own little space. If you tell me what you're planting, I'll be able to give you more specific advice. I'm not an expert, but I'm always open to hearing about Gardner's thoughts.

The lids are snug, and filling the bottom tray is simple. dumped for the purpose of watering the soil at the bottom. Using these trays, I was able to fill a 7,000 square foot garden with beautiful, healthy plants this year. Since January, 40 trays have been rotating nonstop! In addition, basic $18 LED shop lights are attached to storage shelves in my photo. That's how simple it is! I wish I had the ability to respond to the negative reviews and assist these unfortunate individuals. What type of soil do you have on hand? The Black Gold seedling mix is absolutely fantastic. Seeds should be purchased from a reputable source. The Baker Creek Seed Company is incredible! You all have a wonderful gardening season ahead of you!.
I've been growing plants from seed for 35 years, in tin cans, old plastic containers, organic and plastic seed starters, and I've never met a plant that simply wouldn't grow. Anything. I'm not sure why, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't seem to grow anything these days.
I left this on the patio today, oblivious to the fact that it should not be exposed to the sun. It had warped in just a few hours, despite the fact that it was only 85 degrees outside. Not what I was expecting, and I had no idea how easily the plastic could be warped. It's extremely light. "You get what you pay for," as the saying goes.
I wasn't expecting the cells to be as deep as they are. 2 inches at most My main issue is that the top does not fit properly, so it does not create a greenhouse effect. For that reason, I would not purchase again.
After 160 succulent babies, we're done. I've got two more trays!.
50% defective. This implies that there is no quality assurance. I was only able to use two sets (inner, outer, and lid), so the price is not justified.
They're essentially useless. I'm extremely disappointed.
These aren't as large as you might think; they're 40 cells, but they're only 9X14 inches in size.
