I bought some today for about $2 per 5-pound bag At Home Depot, you can buy a pack. It is shameful for Amazon to be in the business of selling books. There is no good way to close the bags when they are filled. The bags are of good quality, however. Rolling down the tops on mine felt great.
I have never bought lawn bags that have been so bad! The seams on the bottom usually do not stick properly or were not glued at all! Many of them were totally unusable because the seams on the bottom were not properly glued or were.
Due to my lack of a truck, I could not take banana leaves, lawn clippings, and other garden debris to the center My town has no stores that carry these bags, which is a big disappointment to me. Because of this, I had to discard a very large amount of my green waste in the regular garbage. used to use them for leaves when I lived in another city. I would like to say thank you to Amazon for helping me to be more green. The fact is they can handle a lot, hold a lot, and can even survive a few days of sitting in the rain without falling.
I live in a city that picks up mixed recycling. Our bin lids blow open a lot and loose sheets of paper are prone to fly all over the place if we dump them into the truck or if we dump them aggressively. In order to contain the loose paper I did not want to use plastic trash bags, so I tried these. I am very happy with how it turned out. It's a powerful bag, a large bag, recyclable, and best of all it's a bag that stands up by itself when it's In fact, I tend to like that last part most, I stand it up in my garage and gradually fill it with papers until I feel that it is full enough to fold over and toss into our recycling.
It is easy to tear the bag and can be difficult to handle when windy, as one would expect. Since I have been using these bags for years to clean leaves and grass cuttings, I have used them to get rid of yard waste.
The environment benefits from these, but some people do not like the ease of OK, thanks. It is better for the environment to use paper bags. I think it's good that there's less plastic in landfills. It is difficult to fill them too much because they cannot be dragged to the curb like his plastic bag, and if it rains between the lawn work day and the lawn waste pick up day, it is a serious.
We have a medium-sized yard, and must often prune shrubs, remove plants, etc. As of now, we have successfully used the first case we purchased, reordered another, and we are well on our way to using a third too.
