It does not smell anything or have any smell from the kitchen size bags or these. The scented trash bags are not acceptable to me at all, like you. Neither plastic nor chemical smells emanate from this location.

This is going to change everything. The reason we purchased them is that we are doing several large outdoor projects In addition, our large lawn trash bags are quite heavy, heavy to lift and maneuver when full, and require at least two people for effective handling. It was interesting to see how the bottom and handles of these bags were reinforced. This group did not let us down! The bags are great! I've never had a rip or tear, and the handles are very sturdy and practical. Their size is just right, big enough but not too huge. If I handle them by myself, I'll be okay They are being lifted into a wheelbarrow to be moved. It is hard to tell from dragging them across the yard, but I suspect they won't Those items fit nicely in our city's trash bins as well.
Although these are satisfactory, they do have a major flaw. Our trash can cannot fit them because the top of the bag opens no wider than a 13 gallon trash bag. They are large bags, but the top opens only as wide as a 13 gallon trash bag size. When you are filling the bag by hand, they work well. Unfortunately, when used in trash cans, they are useless. We would give them a five-star rating if this problem could be resolved.
There appears to be an end to the production of Hefty "Handles" If you're looking for a bag small enough to tie, these are great alternatives.

Bags like these are awesome! There was a time when we lived in a house with five people, so there was a lot of trash. They are reliable, easy to tie, and have a secure closure. It was a bit narrow at the top so I stretched it a bit to fit securely over the top of the recycle bin.
