If you are really in need of what you ordered, send it back. I am not a fan of the hook things. Whenever it's windy, my birds twist off and fly across the yard. So, I went to my local hardware store and bought carabiner hooks for them.

The hardware is of good quality and should last a long time. In the beginning, using an anti-virus program is a really good idea The threads of the turnbuckle are coated with anti-seize compound.
