As far as hardware is concerned, it's fine. Then you'd better keep the rope for your sun shade if you're going to reach for it much. A rope is shown here, but it is the crappiest rope in the entire world. It has a length of about 4 feet and no more would be necessary. Regarding the hardware, this is fine. Instead of going to the hardware and trying to find the right part, it's better to take a picture. This is what I mean.

The hardware set for a shade sail is good

Hardware is made out of heavy duty metal, not cheap, and it is very rigid. There is a lot of weight in it As tough and strong as necessary to withstand battering winds and to keep the sail taut as it should. This appeared to be a nice, sturdy device, and the turnbuckles looked good.

I used this metal fastener for my yard shade cloth, which proved to be very strong against the strong wind and holds its shape well. Metal looks good, I don't think it will rust, I believe it will serve the intended purpose for a long time.
