The clevis they provide to hold the loop on the wire needs a minimum of three points at each point to get it to hold (they provide one), and that's after you first strip the plastic off, and even then the wire snapped overnight. This junk setup took me two days to get working before I finally gave up and used rope instead. Once I had rope, it took just 15 minutes to install and looks better than anything this kit ever could!.

There is a plastic coating on the cable provided, making it quite light. With any kind of wind loading, this is not going to last long, and the plastic coating makes clamping the terminations difficult since it can be pulled apart by the wire. The clamps are next on my list. There's a problem with tightening these tiny nuts because they are too close together for any socket to fit over them effectively. A tiny open end wrench is needed to ensure a tight fit. A cheap one would have solved my shade fall down problem, since my shade fell down within a day if it was provided with this kit.

There are some sail shades that cannot be used. The size of my shade is 16 x 16 x 21 feet. An intersecting triangle. A cinderblock wall is tied to the floor. As the tension cable is tightened, the cable coating peels off. During the wind speed of four miles per hour, the cable came loose. Took a trip to the hardware store and purchased a sturdy latch.

My first impressions of the Sun Shade Hardware Kit are quite positive. It has endured some high winds so far and the cable and hardware are fairly sturdy. As for the quality of the cable and hardware, they are both pretty good. Taking advantage of a sale on curtain kits, I will purchase a few more to use for.

Very happy with it. Reviewers were not allowed to write about this product before I bought it. The results have been excellent, and I am really happy with them. Having purchased a 16 x 12 patio sail, it worked like a charm. After that, I bought a patio sail much bigger than 20x16, which is holding up very well. There was no problem putting up the sail. The steel cable is coated in plastic, which makes it so much easier to handle whenever I need to tighten In addition to being a great product, the price isn't too bad either.

Attaching our patio with a shade sail that is 12 x 12 was made possible by this. Wire ropes aren't up to the task because they break when the wind blows and the waves swell. I can see how this would work for smaller applications. As for the rest of the hardware, it.

My cable kept seizing up as they were loose in the beginning, so I had to remove the coating on the cable and tighten it. I have not had any issues since then. You may even have 20 or more employees Today there are 25 mph winds! Yet, neither slips nor loosens have taken place.
