Questions & Answers
They include heavy-duty eye screws in the beam as well as swingers (as shown in the photo). To connect the chains to the eye screws in the swing, you'll need D hooks (large).
A diameter of at least an inch is required.
I'm not sure, but I have my doubts. Some screws are designed for use with metal, while others are designed specifically for use with wood. For plaster and sheetrock, there are specific ones. I recommend that you contact the product's manufacturer. They'd be able to tell you and most likely assist you in customizing your requirements.
These are heavy chains, not the kind you'd find on porch swings, swing sets, or other similar items.

I had the chain for about a year and a half. It was always dry because it was on a covered porch. Well, one of the links snapped in half (I'm 5'8 and 165 pounds) and threw me backwards out of the swing. I hit the back of my head pretty hard, and I'm just thankful I didn't get a concussion at the age of 63. My husband needed a lot of convincing to put my swing back up. We both knew as soon as this chain arrived that it was the type of chain I should have had all along. It reminds me of the chain that used to hang on the playground when I was a kid. This chain carries a tremendous amount of weight. I've only had it for about a month, but I'm finally feeling secure and at ease in my swing.
It isn't a complete kit because you don't get any hooks to attach the chain to the swing's eye bolts. I had to go out and buy four of them.
I wanted to refinish the swing but didn't want to keep the old, rusted chain on it. I was unsure how to replace the chain and came across this "kit," which took care of everything for me. br>br>In my case, I needed four small d rings because cutting the old chain and leaving one link on it was easier than trying to remove 20-year-old nuts and bolts. It does, however, come with everything you'll need to connect the chain to the swing and hang it from a porch or frame. br>br>Excellently made chain that is simple to put together. The three chains have already been attached in the correct location. It turned out to be better than I had anticipated.
The product is of excellent quality and is simple to set up. I intended to go to the hardware store and purchase chains and hooks - The chains alone would have cost $60 if they had been of lower quality and strength. I decided to look into Amazon, and I'm glad I did. Not only did it save me money, but it also saved me time and effort.
The first people to sit on it were two big guys with a combined weight of more than 500 pounds. The chain has no problems at all, and we are delighted to have it.
We already had loops screwed into the ceiling, so it would have been nice if it had come with S hooks.
Stainless steel is not an option. Technical information is incorrect. They're made of steel with a bright zinc plating. My fault for not noticing it in the detailed description; it appears to be good quality hardware, but it will rust eventually; the photo shows the stainless steel 10ft. This is likely why some reviewers were taken aback by the appearance and color of the final product. Stainless steel, on the other hand, would retain a lot of its brilliance.
I used it to make a porch swing, and it worked even better than the original rods.
