Questions & Answers

The swivel hardware is included with this product?

We don't include our swing swivel with the indoor sensory swing, but it can be purchased Feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions regarding our online ordering process!

Does anyone have a suggestion for a hardware replacement that would Please provide a bit more (even if it's just a bit more). ?

There are thousands of pounds of support in the hardware. It is the cloth which is the weak link. You might be able to increase the weight capacity by double the cloth, but you would also need two figure 8's since you cannot use two fabric swings on one figure 8'. By putting two fabric swings in one figure 8, the system that holds the fabric without putting stress on the seam would be defeated.

Can the swing be installed on a ceiling as high as 12 feet? Geodesic dome houses often have high ceilings, and we have one on the third floor of our house. I appreciate your help. ?

Hanging height of our indoor sensory swing can be adjusted to meet different needs. Since daisy chains can be used in tandem, the minimum can be a little more than 6 feet and the maximum can easily be taller than standard ceiling heights. We can provide you with more specific information if you reach out to our support team! I appreciate your kind words.

Is this product suitable for outdoor use as well? What will happen if it rains? Will it get ruined?

If you intend to swing outside, it is not a good idea unless you will remove the swing as soon as you are done. A fabric that is wet and which receives direct sun exposure will eventually mildew and rot. As long as you remove the piece every time and hang it back up, you can do that.

It would have been nice if we hadn't waited so long
5/5

I took both of my children to this event throughout the day. The post went up at 901 a. m. We took down the flag at 5 pm since it was up at 30 am It was a relief to get them to eat dinner without a fight when I was 30. br>br>My son is 5 years old and has autism. He uses a swing to jump in flat on his back and then climb It is perfect for his sensory needs due to the strength of the work and the resistance. As I write this review at 6 am the day after using the product, I'm still excited about it. Due to his sleep issues, he tried this and, due to it easily meeting his sensory needs, he was able to go to sleep at bedtime and is still asleep. My daughter started out using it as a regular sit and a gentle swing, and ever since then, she has told us, "I really like it. ". It grew so big that she even wanted to pull up her table and play with other toys as she sat The swing was eventually an extension of her bed and she lay down in it and played with her dolls and animals. There is no problem with the material. Putting it up and installing it was pretty simple. It is very well written and clear directions (I already know very little about installation) The instructions are well written and easy to follow. It's big enough for both of my kids at the same time, but they have different sensory needs. Since we had to order another one within hours of this being completed, I bought another one within hours of this being finished.

As good as the one at OT, but without the $300 price tag. Initially, there was a mild, musk-like smell, but it wasn't noteworthy, so we didn't notice it until after the swing had been up for a while, and it didn't bother the kids either. The sound was very subtle at first, so I didn't realize it was coming from the swing. However, the material is washable, so I am confident it will be fine once it gets washed.

I love it
5/5

The kids are in love with I am totally in love with this swing. There is no end to the enjoyment my kids get from 12 years, 6 months and 4 days old. Whenever I gather my little ones in there, they crawl in. It was very comfortable for my 4-year-old daughter to sleep in. Aside from being calming, it is fun as well. My children do not exhibit any signs of autism. The space could be used as a place to It is possible for them to sit or lay down. You can dance by swinging or spinning. Stay still if you prefer. I like that!.

Let's get right to the video! No need to read instructions! Installed it this weekend and it has been greatly appreciated by my kids! One of our kids has developmental delays, and due to the pandemic, he can't get his OT and speech As a means of giving him some space while he's stuck at home, I built him a Swedish Ladder system with rope ladder and a sensory swing
4/5

In terms of the review, I only had one complaint (that's why I took off one star), and that was the extremely unclear A QR code and URL for an instructional video is located at the end of the instructional text but before the ads for other products. Unfortunately, the code did not work for me, but the URL did, and that's how I installed this swing! I love how easy it is to follow now! I think this swing is quite a bit more expensive than many of the other options on Amazon. However, the quality of materials, the instructional video, and the mounting hardware included make it well worth the price and I strongly recommend it.

This is the perfect gift for an individual with special needs! This swing has been a big hit with my special needs children! There are two of them in my house
5/5

The temperament of my son is milder than that of In order to make her room more comfortable, I bought the swing. periods where she feels very overstimulated, and then her behavior is completely out of control. There was SOMETHING that I needed to do to help her calm down. The answer to my question was here! She's been going to it every single day since my husband hung it in her room two months ago. There is enough space to fit two small children (mine are 8 and 6), but not so much room that it takes up a lot of Besides using it as a sling on which to swing, she also uses it as a hammock on which to lie flat. Her overstimulated body is cradled by the material, giving her the compression she needs. If you have a child with special needs, you cannot go wrong with this swing! This is an investment well worth making.

Buying this for a kid with sensory issues is a good idea! The OT at the early intervention center recommended a swing like this for my 3 year old son who has autism
5/5

Although I was a bit skeptical about the idea, we decided to go for it. I had to wait a couple of weeks for my son to actually want to use this, but now he uses it on a regular basis The average person spends at least 30 minutes each day, maybe even It may be he will do it by himself, or he may ask for help to fully lay out at Playing with puzzles on the floor and lying on his stomach in the swing are his favorite activities. Our goal is to make sure he uses it as a discipline tool daily. However, we also use it when he's having a meltdown. Our swing is our go-to method for getting him to calm down and out of a meltdown 80% of the time A man's confession is his testament, and I would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it first-hand. Since we got it, we have also seen an overall decrease in meltdowns. As well as OT work, we were doing a lot of it during the same timeframe, so mostly likely its a combination of the two, but I think the swing definitely contributed. It is important to have it easily accessible if you are going to use it Since it's in our "main" room, he can walk right in or ask for help without leaving the room or having to worry about going through a lot of turmoil. I highly recommend this swing to parents whose children have any kind of sensory regulation disorder!.

We had an amazing experience with our daughter
5/5

This is how I can put it. A joyous and energetic ball of energy, Alice Liberty has no limits to her energy. It was important for her to find a space where she could simply "Be", since her excitement is not like everyone else's. This is hard when you have 8 brothers and sisters.
I had no idea that this sling would be so useful. Our exact location is now known if we can't find her. There is a space for her. The more time she spends in this thing, the more it seems like she spends there, but she has been surprised at how much she likes reading, sleeping, sitting, and being herself within it. My wife wanted to get it, but I was sceptical as her father. It has become impossible for me to be skeptical any longer. I am delighted that it has been added to our family of six.

People of all ages enjoy it
5/5

We have 3 kids between the ages of 7 and 11 who enjoy this swing In fact, I am enjoying sitting in it too since it can carry up to 200 pounds. It is a good bracket system, with a locking method for the caribeaners. It was originally inside, but you definitely need space to move around in it as they recommend. We moved it outside, and it allowed us to secure it to our covered patio and 6x6 beam support. I unclip it every night as I bring it inside. Outside we were able to secure all 4 of the lag bolts because the hook holes were too wide for an I beam, but inside we were only able to secure 2 of the lag bolts because it was secure to 6-inch Despite the two lag bolts being very secure, the kids managed to ride the swing just fine. I actually bought a Harkla pod chair to replace the swing and put it where the lag bolts were. There is nothing I saw online that is as durable as Harkla's hooks when it comes to securing hanging items. Be sure to watch the video on here for instructions for how to hook the fabric.
