The swing will be hung in a children's bedroom using this hook. The fact that you can twirl as well as swing back and forth makes it more enjoyable. The metal can rub against the rod as it spins and I'm not certain if that will go away after constant use. My only criticism of this hook would be that. Having all parts included is one of the things I like. Moreover, there were some extra parts that I wasn't sure what they were for it would have been helpful if it had been accompanied by.

The swivel in the kit keeps them from getting tangled and keeps them from getting wound up. We used it to hang a chair hammock on the porch and a tree swing (minus bracket). It has been installed and used almost every day for about a month now and I'm very pleased with the quality and cost.

The hook has been excellent for about a month now, and I wouldn't dream of using any other! The hammock chair always feels totally safe and supportive to me though I sit in it all day. Since I am using only the spring hook with the hammock I have now, the hammock sits a little too low when all the other pieces are included. In choosing this hammock chair over the others, I chose it because 1) it was one of the few I saw that had a spring hook AND a carabiner that hooked into the hammock chair, and 2) even with all the parts together, the length wasn't excessive. Because of that customizable hardware length, I was able to adjust it to suit the height of my hammock stand in a way that is very convenient. I highly recommend that to.

There is only one reason I took off a star it is a bit wide to find the 2 x 6 in the ceiling with the narrow width. There are barely enough holes to fit studs in, so you have to perfectly locate one or the other side will get nothing but drywall, which isn't.

am delighted that I can put up my hammock chair on my balcony thanks to that hanging kit. During this time of year, I feel very secure in my chair and cannot wait to enjoy a tasty glass of wine as the weather begins to warm up. To anyone who wants to hang a hammock outside, I highly recommend this product.

It was easy to install and seems to be very strong. We installed our hammock swing chair on a beam outside and this hanging kit was perfect to do it. Almost a month has passed since we started using it.

The chair hammock I had hung in my daughter's room was made with this. She should be able to rotate around, so I wanted the seat to be swivel. I am pleased with how this has turned out!.
