Is this something you could use to blow out your sprinklers with?

When blowing out our sprinklers, we did use the quick coupling valve key.

What is it, then? Is it better to use a hose thread or a pipe thread? The two previous responses are contradictory. ?

NPT (pipe thread) threads have been used.

Where can I get a handle only?

Any hardware store will do.

Is it safe to eat without lead?

According to the seller, it's brass, and it doesn't come into contact with water in any case.

There aren't any that I can think of. This was bought to replace a community garden that donates a minimum of anything grown to various Networks serving those in need of food. The one that needed to be replaced was broken and quite old. We were able to avoid having to purchase a new valve type key and complete operator, which would have been very costly.

I've had the same set of keys for my Rain-X for a long time. bird No. Since I moved into my house 28 years ago, I've had three valves installed. Unfortunately, the old keys' single "nub" had worn down to the point where it was no longer functional. I was delighted to discover two nubs on these - That is more logical. They are much more comfortable and functional than the ones I've been using for years.

There were no leaks, so it was a good product

It was an excellent solution. To attach a standard garden hose, an adapter is required. The hose fits, but the threads are different, so if you don't have the right adapter, it will leak.

It's made of brass and it's very well made

Before the winter, this is used to clear the sprinkler system. It ought to work fine.

I'm not sure how I survived without this little gem. It's made of brass and stainless steel, so it's tough but also attractive and portable. br>For ease of use, insertion, and removal, the turning handle is threaded and knurled. Furthermore, simply having it drives my wife insane, as I don't require it: It's for someone else's irrigation system, and I'll probably only use it once a year, but I've got my own! Boo- Raah!.

It was exactly what I needed

It took some time to find this, but once I did, it worked perfectly. My compressor was rigged up with some attachments, and the sprinkler system was blown out in no time.
