There is a hex bottom that appears to be 1 5/16" in size, and a 3/4" pipe thread on the female A No. 8 valve can be used with this valve. A No. 3 Rainbird valve and a 3 The Rainbird key is 33 kb. Additionally, I know that we have occasionally used a Rainbird valve for drinking water for over 40 years with no apparent health problems, but that time they did not give such a warning that I am aware of. The brass in both may contain lead or something similar
This should be able to facilitate the installation of a water line.
The valve key to fit a 3/4" valve will also require a 1" * 3/4" reducer. If you just got another 1" coupler valve, that would probably be cheaper.
My knowledge is limited, but I would think a valve box would be the best choice since it will be below surface (i.e. Mower blade) still accessible while remaining at a level height. The dirt on valve boxes builds up over time, however.

Both of my outdoor hose spigots are located fairly far from my driveway due to the way that the plumbing was installed on my house. So, I installed this quick coupler valve in my yard right next to my driveway last year, and it has been a major success so far. You can get access to clean water much more quickly and easily. A 12 inch brass quick coupler key is used), a short section of garden hose, and a nozzle from the garage, and I am set up in a minute or so. The valve on this system eliminates the need to haul a garden hose across my lawn and helps me provide water to my plants. The irrigation valve box that I installed is surrounded by a green lid that covers up the quick coupler valve when it is not in use, so it can be kept covered when not in use. The product would be a great asset for me if I had installed it It is great work you do,.
What if there's an upgrade in the future? This is a very functional and well-made product. What if there's an upgrade in the future? The last time I bought one of these on Amazon was 2 years ago to install near my kids' raised garden so they wouldn't have to drag heavy hoses out there all the time. It worked well and has held up well over time. This is well protected underground because I put it inside a round box Since I cannot comment on the durability to external forces, I cannot provide a conclusion. My second one has just arrived, and I see that the new cover is made of brass - I just ordered a second one for my yard - I think I'll install it elsewhere. Unlike the old one, which is of a flexible plastic (almost rubbery), the new one is plastic. As the old plastic cover has a lip that extends around the valve, it would probably do a better job of keeping debris out. However, I can see that the metal cover would probably be stronger and better at resisting external forces, which would probably be best if you installed it in the open (not in a hidden I am planning to install this new valve without a box (almost flush with the ground), and will update this review if that is the case after a year or so to see how well it performs.
The underground irrigation system in my home is equipped with several Rainbird valves. It seems that almost all of them leak around the base of the 'key' when they are installed inside Even when I use the Rainbird 'key' I have NEVER experienced any leaks with the Orbit valve. Three years ago I replaced one of my Rainbird valves with an Orbit. All of my valves are buried in the soil and have never been damaged by freezing weather. Additionally, the Orbit valves are about 1/3 the price of a Rainbird valve.
I worked for good quality for what I needed.
There are several aftermarket quick coupler valves available for the "35" series Rainbird sprinkler key, but this one is by far the best, after Rainbird of course. It is much less expensive and comes with.
The system works great. I have installed it at a rental property to prevent excessive water use. There is a brass handle that can be removed.
Buying this was a great decision. It's no longer possible to purchase them locally.
A low price and an easy to use interface.
