Questions & Answers

There is one major difference between part # 210746 and this one. Are you looking for a diaphram kit for 03 9 (rpk diaph)?

It's probably the same part. I ordered these and they work perfectly. They were a perfect fit for a dozen Rainbird Valves I installed ten years ago and some of which have started to leak. It doesn't appear Rainbird has changed the design of their valves or their It's the 3/4 inch inline. Be sure to back turn the screws until you feel the thread drop, checking the thread on the lower housing to ensure that the screw thread uses the original thread. This way you get to keep the original mounting threads in the lower housing instead of having to cut a new one. Whenever the threads in the lower section of the valve are reamed or damaged, the valve must be replaced. Be sure to use a real NO 2 plim. A new screw kit is included with the kit. My old ones are sure to conform to the original housing base, so I use them. Plowing over old ground with old plastic makes no sense

There is a hole in my original diaphragm, blocked by a white plastic plug, which is then covered by the As I see in the picture, there is no such How does it affect our lives?

In my opinion, the conflict is between blacks and whites. There is typically white on one side, or the other. This type of valve adapter is suitable for many valve types.

Does the diaphragm kit you see in the picture actually come with the kit? There will be no need for the white plastic plug as this is the exact one I need. ?

A diaphragm is shown in the picture. In addition to the spring, 5 screws, and the blue solenoid filter, you receive the gear basket. *Thank you for your kind words

What are the requirements for this kit for use with 100 asvf "1"?

The answer is yes. DM100 (1")) and you can use it directly. By replacing it myself, I was able to stop water hammer caused by failure of the I worked hard and succeeded!

Prior to anything else, take note of the solenoid valve
5/5

The following is a word of advice from someone who has used Rainbird for twenty It is a simple matter to replace the solenoid valve first. I have tinkered with fixing my Rainbird valves that develop a S-voice over the years It is apparent there is an issue with had leaking valves on three different valves so I first attempted to replace a diaphragm. Every time they leaked, they kept on replaced the solenoid valves in each one, and so far the leaks have not returned. In any case, it was not the problem since the diaphragm is difficult to replace. You just need to unscrew the solenoid, install a new one, and reconnect two wires to bring the problem to an end. Here is some information I hope is helpful.

After 14 years, it still fits like a glove! Those who know me know this book is a great fit for my 14-year-old Zone controller for sprinklers has been around for a year
5/5

Although the diaphragm wasn't able to solve the problem I was having, I just wanted to let you know that it was a perfect match and that installation took only about five 1) unscrew the solenoid and set it aside (hopefully you are able to do this without removing any wires)
2) now you will be able to undo the screws that hold the top housing onto the **3) lift the top housing straight up and You will put the new one in the same location once you remove the old one
4) remove the old diaphragm
5) place the new diaphragm into the same location and ensure the edges snap securely into the groove. 6) Place the spring upright on top of the valve, placing it on top of the old spring from the previous step. 7) Lower the top housing straight down onto the spring, being careful not to knock it over
8) Install Don't forget to cinch up things You might want to tighten the bolts on your car wheel like this As noted above, we will be using a star pattern. 9) screw the solenoid back in place 10) voila!

Good.

This fix is simple for a Rain Bird 100DV valve that is 13 years old
5/5

The 100DV Rain Bird valve that I had, dating back over 13 years, was easily repaired. Despite several attempts to shut off the valve, it refused to work By replacing the diaphragm with this kit, I was able to fix the problem. It was very hard to see any visible defects on the old diaphragm after replacement, yet it had caused the valve to stay on despite no apparent defect. Using this kit is much easier than replacing the whole valve, which involves digging up the valve and its lines, cutting PVC lines, etc. Replacing just these parts is very simple - just add the new parts to the kit and replace it. Disassemble the assembly by removing six easily accessible screws, removing the old diaphragm and spring, cleaning the mating surfaces, and reassembling. Additionally, I replaced the blue plastic filter below the solenoid since it came in the kit, but my filter was in good condition and probably did not need to be replaced. The total time it took to repair the car Simple tools (Philips screwdriver) are needed. Takes 10 minutes or less to complete. It is a good idea to use this kit if you have a leaking or constantly running Rain Bird sprinkler valve before you replace the entire You are likely to save a lot of time and effort this way.

Here are 2 possible reasons why your valve might stop working
5/5

I suddenly lost the ability to activate my sprinkler system automatically. As a result of reading the rainbird website, it appears that there are two possible reasons. As for the diaphragm and solenoid, they were the first and second. Unfortunately, I was wrong and the solenoid had to be replaced. I was extremely pleased with the fit of the replacement diaphragm. A diaphragm cover was easily removed from the valve, the old diaphragm was removed, and the new diaphragm was installed. Even though the old screws and spring look good, I replaced them with the ones that came with the kit. In total, it took around 15 minutes to complete the task. Remember to turn off the sprinkler system and turn it off. Water pressure is applied to the valve/diaphragm.

We will fix any zones that keep running or leaking as soon as possible
5/5

Installation of the replacement diaphragms is very simple - just follow these directions You will not flood the box when you install the valve, unless your box is flooded when you remove the top of Hence, I recommend getting the zone going after a few minutes of turning off the water, and to make sure the box has enough space for a bit of water. Regardless of whether the zone has been run or not, that will collect. To get the water level below the diaphragm, I had to remove significant amounts of soil from the box. Once that is done, the sprinkler valve needs to be located. In particular, the face must be the first thing to go I fixed up the leak so that it won't happen again.

Ideally suited for stopping most leaks, this replacement is simple and quick
5/5

Besides working perfectly on the 10 year old valves which were leaking, it also worked on the 9 out of 11 older valves. The software is easy to remove and easy to It is essential to remove all dirt and debris from around the valve housing You should check all wiring to make sure it is waterproof, and if it isn't, use grease caps with waterproof seals. There may be some leaks that can't be fixed this way. After replacing the diaphragms in the two remaining valves, they continued to leak, and I had to replace the complete valve.

I would buy this product There was a leak coming from a valve which had a split diaphragm
4/5

Getting to the valve is a hassle, so I did not want to have to remove and replace the whole thing. Overjoyed when I realized I could get a rebuild kit, I bought it right away. The 6 screws were simply removed and all the components were replaced, then the screws were back in place, and the problem The process is also less expensive than purchasing As you align the screws, make sure you line up the holes the same way as the old seal. It is possible that the valve spring is worn out if the valve leaks internally. It would be a good idea to replace the diaphragm as well, if you must replace the spring.
