A pop-up head would be better for me, not a head that sits on top of a riser Assuming this works, I'll go ahead with it. Is that right?

This should work for the application you are trying to use it in. There is no way to turn them off. Threaded onto a 1/2" male pipe end, they are 1/4" in diameter. I wish you the best of luck

Is something that can be done to reduce the spray to less than 4 feet possible?

This adjustment is made in fractions of a circle from 0 to 360 degrees. Using a radius of four feet and a width of 0-100, you will be able to get a pie slice that will fit all budgets A 4 foot tall individual

Is there an inlet of 1/2 inch on this unit? Please accept my sincere thanks! ?

There is no need to thread it on to the pipe end, it threads onto the 1/2" threaded male fitting. Ensure that you do not overtighten the bolts. It is easy for them to break since they are plastic. In order to thread the sprayer head fitting, I threaded Teflon tape onto the threads of the 1/2" male I wish you the best of luck

The pvc was 3/4 inch and the heads are 14 inches long. Around 200 feet out, the farthest head trinkles are still about six inches off the ground. Does the number of zones on a zone have a standard?

You can find recommendations on the internet based on your water pressure, feed line diameter, number of heads per 200 feet and so on. It sounds to me like 200 feet with 14 heads would require about 120 psi, which I doubt you

My bad. I made an error. Although it "is" adjustable, it is very difficult to turn, so I would rate it a three out of There's a lot of hard work that goes into getting water not to shoot over side strips. This seemed like a great fix considering it had A maximum angle of 360 degrees can be set as well. On the top, there is a screw that I thought was a windage restrictor, but no, it is actually an adjustment screw for the angle. can turn it by hand easily, so it really isn't necessary to have it turn automatically. As a result, there is a relatively large flow of water. You cannot set it to adjust the amount of water that it emits, so you have to deal with the high volume. For some people, that may be the exact thing they would like, so it would be a five-star experience. The rating for me is four stars because I did not, thus giving it a three-star rating.

Put an end to water waste on the sidewalks and the streets! Those would have been great if I had purchased them a long time Considering we don't have a large yard in front, standard sprinkler heads from Lowe's and Home Depot were overkill, spraying water from 2 to 4 feet away Unless the street or sidewalk or driveway is 3' from our lawn
5/5

In my frustration, I went back to Lowes and HD numerous times to find out when shorter range sprinkler heads were available. Not at all. Amazon is to be commended! This is the exact thing we needed to water our lawn and just our lawn! I am not the street, I am not the sidewalk, and I am There are a total of nine heads each can be adjusted The sprinkler sprays about 4' from the spike when it is tightened to a 360o degree angle (yes, if you tighten it all the way nothing will spray out, hence the 0). In the process of ordering more so we can redo the backyard as well! It does take awhile to receive them, but they are still free shipping. Not Prime shipping though.

I have no problems with them! I found that this was the perfect product for our patio area in the back yard
5/5

For our garden area of about 3 1/2 feet, which needs a better irrigation system, we were looking for a better As of right now, our sprinkler heads had a spread of about 10', and we did reduce that spread down to reduce runoff, but we felt that reducing the spread so much didn't provide enough water flow in Compared to our old shrub sprinkler heads, these new shrub sprinkler heads provided a more downward flow, which significantly reduced drainage run-off and I felt the water was distributed more directly throughout the garden. If you have a smaller garden area, I highly recommend these.

A good sprinkler head for a small area
5/5

My local stores do not seem to have small area heads in stock, which is a bummer because I hate ordering those online. I was pleased with the overall quality of this product since I only needed a small area for shrubs.

Watering your lawn is Easy When You're in Control! Having bought these spray heads twice now, we are very satisfied with them
5/5

Our company will be switching to Orbit heads from another brand. It directs the spray in a more downward motion with a more flexible adjustment system, which results in less water waste. It was a bit slow at first, but I think it was all worth it.
