How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Individual shrubs and trees in landscapes, as well as plants in container pots and hanging baskets, benefit from precise, even watering to keep soil moist and hydrate the plant's root zone.
14 in. x 14 in. x 14 inch x 14 inch x 14 inch Internal diameter of 0.25 in. tubing and dripline 170 in. ; a flow rate of 1 GPH
The water flow from a non-pressure compensating emitter will vary depending on the length of tubing or elevation, with higher flow closer to the water source.
Inline emitters have built-in barbs on both sides that allow them to connect directly to distribution tubing without the use of connectors; water is delivered from one side of the emitter.
Twenty-five Inline Drippers are included in the package.

Questions & Answers

Is it for a single dripper?

This item is made to be connected in a series with hose sections of varying lengths between dippers.

Are these to be inserted into a 1/2-inch line or at the end of the line?

You can daisy chain them together to place one at each plant by sticking them in the 1/8" line.

These were not drippers with a flow rate of one gallons per minute
3/5

These are two-way connectors, not one-gigabit per second emitters. I would have returned if the return period had not expired by the time I attempted to use them. When I attempted to install one, the water came out faster than my 8lph emitters, despite the fact that it should have been less than half as fast.

In arid climates, a garden is a must
5/5

For more than ten years, I've had my Raindrip irrigation system in my garden. I'm a big fan of simple. Tubing and drippers are among the components that can be used. You cut the tubing to the length(s) you need, then twist the drippers in to connect the tubing lengths. My garden is set up a little differently each year than the year before, so I have to adjust the dripper system accordingly. I purchased a pack of drippers because they appear to break over time and require replacement. They don't break in the summer, but I find several of them broken the following spring after they've been stepped on and exposed to the elements all winter. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd bring all of the components inside every fall and hopefully avoid any breakage. The components, on the other hand, are advertised as weatherproof, and they are in most cases. Because the parts aren't expensive, I simply replace what needs to be replaced each spring when I set up the system. I expect the bag of 25 I just purchased to last me for the next couple of Spring seasons.

Not 1gph
3/5

Water poured out like a hose because the faucet was broken. I experimented with a few different things. br>The water was so powerful that it carved a trench in the ground.

Some of them are successful, while others are unsuccessful
3/5

Many of the packets do not drip, so test each one. Those who put in the effort put in the effort.

After 8 months, the drain was clogged
3/5

Eight months ago, I installed ten of these; They were easy to install, had no leaks, and were pleasant to work with. Eight of the ten I installed are completely clogged eight months after they were installed. These appeared to be convenient, but not if they require more frequent maintenance or replacement than a standard flag dripper.

They're fragile, but they get the job done
4/5

So far, so good, but these are notoriously fragile, and I have to replace a few every year (who knows how long they've actually lasted, given that I've been using drip irrigation for over a decade). I'm not sure how they could be made more durable since they're made of plastic and are exposed to the sun, but I wish I didn't have to repair my drip irrigation system every year.

The quality is inconsistent
3/5

I'm a little perplexed because none of these drip at the same rate. The first half appeared to be doing a good job, while the second half did not. I recall seeing some complaints now that I'm writing this. Perhaps I should have paid attention.

It's effective, but it's not always reliable
3/5

It appears to work, but some drippers appear to produce significantly more than others; however, I have not measured the output. Updates: br>br> It has a lot of inconsistencies. When I compared Rain Bird emitters (which are extremely consistent and reliable), I discovered that many of them produced significantly more water than 1gph emitters. Some of my plants have died as a result of too much water, and they're all in close proximity to this dripper.
