The flag is not removable for cleaning, as stated in the description. See what other manufacturers have to offer.
The tab is for calcium deposits to be removed. It's not a valve that closes off the flow of water.
Because this is a Driper, you'll need a flow control valve to keep your flow under control. It all depends on the pressure; if you apply it, I am confident that you will be able to shoot from 1-foot. 2 ft. My drops per second are set to around three.
Hello, according to my previous experience, the 2 gallon is green and the 4 gallon is yellow. Unless there has been a change by the manufacturer.

Regardless of which way the flag is turned, it does not stop the flow of water. They are, as far as I can tell, emitters. They are easily disassembled for cleaning, according to what I've heard. They would, however, cut off flow, as stated in the description. That is not the case. The description should be updated to reflect the fact that water flow will not be cut off.
A 1 gallon per hour flow rate is insufficient for all but mosquito drinks. Typically, less than one gallon per hour is produced. I had to get green heads for all 75 of mine. When stuck with them, I've discovered that removing the top and clipping off about 1/4" converts them to 4 gal/hr in the majority of cases.
I needed some drippers that could be connected to a rainbarrel and had a few feet of head. The pressure of a water main is required by most emitters. Because they don't, they're perfect for what I'm looking for. br>br>At low pressure, I'm not sure how much water they emit, but they do!.
Rain Bird drippers are superior to most other drippers, which break when you try to clean them after one or two years. They still don't last as long as I'd like, so if I ever redo our yard irrigation system, I'll increase the number of zones from two to eight and use open 1/4" tubing to completely eliminate the problem.
The green tab is designed to clean out of the dripper, which is a nice feature, but I would prefer to get the standard dripper/emitters that are straight without the elbow.
These are attractive, and the fact that they can be adjusted is a plus. I noticed that the adjuster knob (the green part) is flimsy and does not completely turn off the water when rotated to one side, so I switched to in-line limiters with a round knob that twists shut, which work much better and are more reliable.
gallon . These are fantastic! Camo 5 can be used for drip irrigation. buckets with lids for five gallon buckets To unclog a clogged emitter or tubing, follow these steps: Turn on the water, hold the emmiter's base, turn the flag 90 degrees, and pull the flag up and out to clear debris and air pockets, then replace it! Make a hole for the emmiter insertion with a 16d nail or a small phillips screwdriver.
The only drawback is that they are easy to hit with a weed eater and can plug up at times.
