Questions & Answers

I tried several methods to connect/insert my rainbird t22 into this adaptor but couldn't get it to work. unable to succeed ?

I discovered that squeezing the tube and rotating it in a circle was the most efficient method.

Will this work with MistKing 1/4" tubing to keep it from vibrating too much?

I believe it would, because the drip line tubing I used is also 1/4" in diameter. If it's vibrating, it sounds like you have a pressure problem. If you have an adjustable manifold, you can lower the pressure, which may solve your problem as well.

My adapter is nothing more than a single solid piece of plastic with a washer on it. A barb or a compression fitting are unlike anything else. Are there any components that I am missing?

Push your 1/4-inch tubing through the small front hole. A short piece of plastic protrudes from the front of some of these adaptors, into which the 1/4 in tube is pushed.

Is this compatible with a 3/16" hose?

If you apply heat to the 3/16" hose, it should stretch.

Irrigation Tube Coupling is a fantastic product
5/5

We made an investment. For two different projects, I used two packs of these fittings: to irrigate our raised garden beds and to install irrigation set up a system for our Podocarpus bushes around the perimeter of the yard. We were able to take a vacation without worrying about our plants because of this. These couplings easily fit into the hole and provide a tight seal (just make sure the holes are punched at a right angle to the tubing to avoid distortion). I also used a few couplings from an old irrigation kit, but I didn't have a preference for one style over the other. (See photos)br>br>Here are the irrigation systems we used: (Quantity 1) Timer.

Leak- There are no costs associated with drip irrigation
5/5

When I need to install a drip emitter, I cut the main line, insert one of these connectors into it, and run a short line from the barb to the emitter. There's a trick to getting them to talk to each other. Before pressing the drip line onto the connector, it's best to soak the end in hot water for about 10 seconds. The effort, however, is well worth it because the connections are strong and do not leak.

Fittings for couplings that are of high quality
5/5

When we moved into our new home, we discovered that the sprinkler system in the backyard was completely broken. I couldn't find the sprinkler valves for the back yard, even with professional assistance, so I decided to research and install my own drip irrigation system to automate the watering process, primarily because I'm too lazy to water my backyard every other day. Because of the positive reviews and the variety of options, I chose the Rainbird family of products. br>br>For the trees and shrubs in my yard, I chose drip emitters, and the system's backbone was 1/2 in tubing. Then 1/4-inch tubing for individual plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs. You can install them in one of two ways. Like I did, you can simply install them into 1/2 in tubing. Another option is to install a 1/4-inch coupler into 1/2-inch tubing and then run a 1/4-inch tube to the plant. The drip emitter should then be connected to this end. Some people complain that the water pressure pushes the emitter off the end of the tubing, so I went with this configuration. These coupling fittings were purchased to connect 1/4 in tubing to 1/2 in tubing in order to allow for future expansion. Then I put goof plugs in the ends of the lines that I haven't yet used. br>br> Reasonably priced. br> Simple to operate. To insert the barbed end into the hole you punched in the 1/2-inch tubing, I recommend using the Rainbird special tool. Special tools aren't my favorite, but they're only a few dollars each. I saved a lot of money by doing this project myself ($250 total), so getting this specialized tool was well worth it to me. br> So far, I've been very pleased with the results.

- So far, nothing has been discovered. br>br>These coupling fittings have performed admirably for me. I'll keep this review up to date as needed.

They are successful
5/5

These come in a flash. Because I was self-employed, I placed my order online. Otherwise, I would have gone to a big box hardware store in the area. Because the nails are so short, it's important to pay attention to how they're placed. The goal is to hammer it in properly the first time. Because the plastic is quite flexible, you'll have to start over if the nail isn't straight. They worked satisfactorily to string 1/4" line up the wall and across the patio cover. br>That's just the way they are, there's no other choice.

The clips are fantastic
5/5

I have 1/4" drip irrigation lines running throughout my patio, garage, and other areas, and these clips work with all of them. If you only use one or two clips, the line will sag between them because they can pin the line down but not with enough friction to keep it taut. You can stretch the line taut by adding a few more, say 5 or 6, spaced about 18" apart. I enjoy it and plan to purchase it again.

It's a fantastic product at an even better price! So far, everything has gone well! To be honest, the adapter's simplicity and low price had me doubting whether it would work
5/5

To attach the 1/4 inch tubing to your spigot or spigot timer, simply stuff and wiggle it into the hole. I just assumed there would be more to it, but it was as simple as that. br>I was worried that when the water was turned on, the water pressure would shoot the tube out, but it didn't. Using in a small garden drip irrigation system controlled by a timer. br>br> br>br>Excellent product at an excellent price.
