Japan is the source of these.
Selected User Reviews For Tombow 57327 MONO Black Eraser, Small, 5-Pack. Cleanly Removes Marks Without Damaging Paper
These Tombow erasers are very similar to Staedler's white plastic erasers, but they are much softer and gentler on paper. I've had no trouble erasing pure graphite of all hardnesses, and it even erases my Prismacolor Premier colored pencils reasonably well (despite the fact that they weren't designed to be erased). Of course, as with all plastic erasers, it can lift the pigment in fineliners (Pigma Microns, Copics, and so on), so use caution. They erase beautifully on everything from Tomoe River paper to Bristol board. They appear to erase best on smoother or medium-weight paper. The best part (at least for me): No soiled eraser with this all-black set! Because black goes with everything, whether you use Blackwings or Bics, Prismacolors or Pilots, this will go with your current art supplies. br>br>Here's something to think about: Cut these puppies in half because they'll wander off and you'll be disappointed that you wasted an entire eraser when it could have lasted you much longer. br>br>I never thought I'd write an eraser review, but here we are.
These erasers are by far the best I've ever used. br>I've had these erasers for a long time and am very pleased with them. br>When you compare them to the big-name companies, it's easy to see why they're so successful. name- I can see a significant difference between the brands (the pink ones). br>Even after erasing with the pink erasers, the previous pencil marks and writing are still visible. These erasers, on the other hand, clean the page. They even clean up the smudges and marks that the pink erasers left behind. br>A couple of things to keep in mind:
- These are smaller than the pink erasers and appear to wear out more quickly.
- They're packaged in sleeves to keep them safe. I recommend keeping them in those sleeves because it appears that the eraser's surface can be easily contaminated by the fingers (presumably due to skin oils), and it does seem to make a difference. br>From now on, I'll be using these types of erasers. br>I've already tossed out all of the pink ones.
I've tried it on high-quality paper, watercolor paper, and inexpensive sketchbook paper. The paper is not harmed, and it erases without leaving a trace. This has truly blown me away! br>br>Further lines in pencil, pen, or watercolors are drawn as if nothing had happened at that location. It's truly incredible! br>br>I am blown away by this. It's better than some of the more expensive erasers I've tried! Even better, I can use this quick eraser instead of a kneaded eraser. It is deserving of an additional star. br>br>.
After reading some of the reviews, I decided to buy these erasers. The erasers come in a very attractive package. They look and feel great, but they don't erase well and leave a lot of debris (you'll have to use a lot of the eraser to erase a single line). I'm not sure if this eraser will break in half in the future. When I'm done with them, I'm not going to buy any more.
They're little champions when it comes to getting things done. br>This five-pack of Eraser goodness will change your life!br>Get these if you're used to Prisma color ones. br>These are the ones that actually get the job done! br>br>Are you a Tombow fan?.
Everything is as it should be. For homework and practice writing, it is used on a daily basis. Smaller than I anticipated, and more expensive than the standard ones. I'll give the other brand a shot as well.
Since the old brand of eraser I used to use ceased production, I've been smitten with these. I tend to push them a little too hard, and they won't always get it right, but they always do a fantastic job. At all times, I have at least two with me.
I've never used a better kneaded eraser. It's fantastic that the pencil lines don't get smudged. It is strongly suggested.
