Questions & Answers
I tried it with the 527 35 erasers, which are 5" long, as opposed to these, which are 3" long and I believe are the 528 55. 75" long. It's doable, but it's far from ideal. The erasers are more prone to breaking and aren't particularly comfortable to use on their own. I'd go for the holder if you can. The 528 50 holder is the one you'll need (assuming you're using 528 55 refills). Online (*cough Nordisco cough*), you can get it for less than Amazon.
A magnificent pencil eraser, not an ink eraser.
The eraser holder was included in the box of eraser refill sticks as a bonus.

These erasers are my husband's go-to when it comes to charting and design work. However, given what he does, he goes through one fairly quickly. He likes how they don't smear and are comfortable to hold, which outweighs the fact that they run out quickly. He used to get them at Michael's for around $10 for one in the holder. We had no idea there were replaceable erasers for it until I went shopping here and discovered these, as well as the refills, which can be purchased separately. This is a significantly less expensive alternative.
GONE. GONE FOREVER! The most amazing eraser I've ever seen! br>br>I do a lot of preliminary sketching and need to be able to remove the pencil guides once the final inking is completed. I've had great success with the larger version of this product. br>br>For detail work, this pencil-shaped/sized version is ideal. The larger sixe is something I frequently give as a present. It is always greatly appreciated.
I like the concept, but I don't think it can be erased very well, and it doesn't have that smooth erase feeling when you erase it, instead feeling a little rough if you know what I mean. These are similar to the pink erasers from the dollar store, but they're a little more durable. I'd still give it four stars because it does what it says it will do, just not in the way I had hoped!.
It's ideal for erasing small areas without affecting the rest of the page. Erasing with pinpoint accuracy. Rubber erasers are too big and clumsy for pencil on Bristol, and kneaded or gum erasers simply don't work.
It's simple to use and extremely useful. This eraser makes it simple to correct minor mistakes while also allowing you to control what is erased. I had one years ago and had no idea where to get another. I was ecstatic when I came across it on Amazon. I was so pleased with it that I gave one to my husband, who had never seen or used one before - He is enthralled by it.
For the past 35 years, I've relied on Staedtler erasers. They are the best because they are durable and do not break. They are easy to remove pencil marks from and leave very little residue. This product is made in Germany. Exceptionally high standard of excellence. It is eternal. I would strongly suggest it.
This is a must-have for heavy-handed writers and artists, such as myself. I believe I will place additional orders and stock up. Anyone who uses pencils should have this on their desk. You will not be disappointed if you order it; You'll be disappointed that you didn't discover it sooner.
Everything arrived in a nice package, and it's perfect for adding a plain eraser to my watercolor travel palette. I can cut it down to a smaller size because my Stadler pencil is already sharpened to a small size.
