There were a lot of them and they held paper together just like a paperclip should. I have never bought paperclips before, but if I had to guess this is how they should look. I was glad that they came in boxes, instead of being in a ziplock bag. I only have one complaint they should hire someone to untangle the paper clips before shipping them out. I don't have time to untangle paper clips, so I simply throw them out.

The texture of these paper clips allow them to stay in place, and they're great. The tips are not rounded, and someone has complained in a previous review that the scissors tear paper. Whenever I've been in an office, I have seen paper clips with finished ends but have not seen any in the office I've been to recently. There are too many people to please! While this is true, I have not been able to tear a single page while removing one, and none of them have been sharp enough to stick.
