Product Description

Wet all-weather paper won't turn to mush and won't absorb water, sweat, grease, or mud and will even dry out after being washed in the washing machine. Your stapled notebook must stay on the RIGHT side of the rain.
THE MATERIAL OF THE COVER Field-Flex is the most flexible cover material offered by Rite in the Rain. Weather conditions do not pose a problem to your field notes since mud and water run right off.
The spine is bound with strong nickel-plated staples that resist rust.
WRITING IN THE RAIN Use a standard pencil like a #2 Ticonderoga or an all-weather pen like a Fisher Space Pen when wet. During the dry state of the paper, standard ballpoint pens and permanent markers will work. If Rite in the Rain Paper is printed with water-based ink, it will bead or wash off.
Contrary to synthetic waterproof paper, Rite in the Rain is made from wood, so it is If you would recycle other office printer paper, you can do the same with Rite in the Rain.

Questions & Answers

The notebooks are very durable, how long do they last? In my back pocket, I used to carry Moleskine, but they are prone to falling apart?

It's one of the toughest out there. They last a long time in my back pocket since I carry them all the time. There are no records of any pages falling out or the cover doing anything other than bending. I forgot to remove it a few weeks ago and put it through the washing machine. All the written pages were still clear and the blank pages were still accepting ink as if they were

Does the Cordura cover fit the size of this notebook best?

My pleasure. Thank you very much At this time, we do not have a Cordura cover especially designed for side binding notebooks of this size where the back cover can be tucked in so it remains As long as it is closed, this size notebook can fit into all of the size Cordura covers that we currently offer.

Are there any restrictions on the pen you can use?

Thanks for visiting! You can best write on our paper with a ballpoint pen, a pencil, or a Contrary to our recommendation, we don't recommend using water The inks we use on our water-based fountain pens (gel) Paper with a sticky surface is less likely to

What type of corrugation does this book have? Do the pages tear easily?

Not at all. There is no perforation on these sheets, so they tear easily. At the top, you have the pieces that form a spiral. It is also possible that the books will not be perfectly torn

The way I see it, it works
5/5

BUT BE SURE TO READ THE DESCRIPTION. It's so nice to have little notebooks like this. It is important to read the description carefully, however. There are only 24 pages in each, well, actually there are 12 pages, since the flip side of the current page appears next to it. My favorite Rite in the Rain products are those made with bismuth. It has always been a pleasure to work with them. Although I realize they might not work for everyone, I'm including them anyway. In addition, some have complained about the smudging of their ink. The only reason I have never had this issue is that I write with a waterproof artist's ink pen. I provided pictures to help buyers better assess their needs as well as to get a sense of the dimensions of the.

The yellow version of this product finally arrived to me
5/5

I didn't get the black ones, but I got the yellow ones. I'm not sure whether they're responding to the reviews and making a greater effort to send out the right color, or whether I just got lucky. When it comes to Rite in the Rain, I can't express how much I admire this band. There are few things that can damage them. One thing I have found that seems a little tougher is the "Field Notes" pads, but they are very plasticy feeling, so I don't use them much. Those who don't mind the plastic feel can try them, but rite in the rain is the only shoe for that nexus of "quality of feel" x "durability. " The only thing that you need is a big, old fashioned roller ball pen, the gel ones you see everywhere do not work well with Markers and sharpies work in the same way. I’ve had great luck with cheap bic and pencils, but anything deemed “fancy” hasn’t worked too well for me. Honestly, there's not much to say about the subject at hand. In addition to being waterproof, visible, tough against tears, and easy to write on, they are also pensible. The small Rite in the Rain pads are likely to be added to my collection at some point, as I get Rite in the Rain products in various sizes.

I would say that a MINI notebook is the best
5/5

I am satisfied with the notebooks and they are exactly what they are described as. As I overlooked the details, I erroneously assumed that these were just a pocket notebook like Field Notes or Field Book. The pages in those are doubled in height and there are somewhat more There are only a few Rite in the Rain notebooks out there, so they are small. I'm a huge fan of Rite in the Rain products but these aren't what I wanted (yet again, my fault for not reading the description carefully). I expected them to be bigger and have more pages, but they are smaller. In spite of that, these notebooks are excellent and make a great pocket notebook for anyone needing a durable, waterproof note-taker that won't come apart Take advantage of the opportunity.

Designed to keep you dry
5/5

Thank you, ladies. If you like keeping track of your workout progress, but your pants don't have pockets, this can be frustrating! If you want to use it in your sports bra, stick it in there. But it still gets very sweaty inside it. My mind sparked to think why not try a different paper? I struggled to find the workout pants, so I changed the paper. This is a place that doesn't discolor or damage, just a place to record My eyes didn't even notice it! I might have missed it if it weren't so thin! The point of my story is that if it works for this it will work pretty much anywhere in the world.

I'm not sure what you plan to do with these notebooks, but I think they work for this.

I have no trouble pulling out the pages
3/5

It is easy for the pages to be inadvertently torn from the book, as they are stapled rather than bound. The notepads with staples or the notepads with metal spirals are NOT the best choices if you want a "Rite in the Rain" product that will last forever (almost) If you can, purchase a bound version instead of one with a spiral binding and no staples.

This notebook is perfect for the outdoors
5/5

We got this for my husband who carries it on long distance runs (such as a marathon or longer). A good deal of his thinking happens when he runs, so he often writes down some key concepts. The notebook is absolutely perfect he's used it during many wet and A duct-tape pencil was fashioned older on the back, and the pencil wrote on the paper in any temperature or even in rain. I have never encountered a product that does what it says it will do better than expected.

This is a compact book, but there are hardly any pages
3/5

The quality of the product has yet to be determined as far as durability and durability. As for value for money, I find these disappointing. I can't believe how tiny they are. I doubt that I will be in a position to take notes for a week. I bought them for my husband for him to keep in his pocket at work. A bit ashamed to hand them over.

This small notebook is perfect for working at the office or on the road
5/5

For several years, I have been using these notebooks at my job. These notebooks are 24 pages, which last for me for at least a couple of months when I take measurements or make work lists before documenting what I find The larger RIR notebook will be ideal for those who keep careful notes. This notebook has been designed to stand up to all weather conditions I experience in my job as an outdoor lifestyle instructor. Although the cover is probably only 50% likely to survive the occasional wash, the books can stand up to occasional sun exposure. However, you need to note that gel pens are outside the scope of this product as it does not take ink from sharpies or regular ink pens. My favorite notebooks, however, are those with thick paper. It is a small, lightweight device that is.
