Questions & Answers

What is the width and height of 5x8?

Those are the dimensions of the cards that fit I have two of them, and I even keep one of them in the lip of my desk. The best part is that you can wrap a rubber band around that "lip", and that way, the box stays closed. I enjoyed the surprise of nothing being mentioned in the description. Also, it's nice to have the lip to prop a card up when you want to read a card. I like how this works!

Can you tell me where these are ?

Chinese is the origin of these!

There seems to be a confusion between alphabetical cards and alphabetic cards

The quality of the DVD was poor
4/5

A cracked egg. A dirty job. I ordered two of these to store 5 x 8 " recipe cards in my kitchen slide out drawer, and I thought Oxford would be a quality brand. A matte finish was used instead of a glossy finish on the box. It is consistent to expect that the overall thickness of the metal is about 3/16". Approximately six inches in height and six inches in width The size of the half-round is 1-1/4" x 8-1/2" Half an inch. Taking some dimensions into account, the box bottom measures 4" in the back, sloping to *3" in the front, with the lid measuring about 2" high (or deep), so it makes it possible to store index cards (see picture). I thought it was dust from packaging material, but didn't notice how they were packed.

The boxes arrived with a dusty appearance to portions of the satin plastic boxes, but I don't think it was dust from packing material. A hinge was half cracked through on arrival in one box, so it is unlikely that the box will last long. In line with other reviews, they work well in a drawer or placed on top of a desk, but they don't lock very well, so if you are traveling, you would be best to secure them with a rubber band. This photo shows a lip at the front of the box which is a good "ditch" where you could put a rubber band or recipe card. Because the bottom of the lock bows in a bit, bending the wall out may make it easier to use the lock. I think this is not a good product, and there is no value for the You may want to look elsewhere and read reviews carefully, because there are likely to be better reviews. The effort required to return is too great. In addition, I use it only for recipe cards I store in a drawer, not for rigorous use and a great deal of opening and closing The plastic used in this product is #5 PP for recyclers. If the plastic is made of polypropylene, it should be resistant to hot liquids, vinegar salad dressings, soaps and not crack under reasonable pressure. I hope you liked the detail and pics, so I'm sharing it. If you hit the helpful button, you will keep me motivated to do more research and writing. This is a wonderful community. Thanks for your help.

Pay what you want and you'll get what you've Whenever it became full and when it wasn't A heavy weight

I am satisfied with the results & it is working for me Four out of five I'd rate this box as a 3 1/2 star file box, not The poor label deserves to lose a star for the stupidity of its title The bottom 3/4 of the crust peeled off easily In the end, there was a sticky goo that will pick up dust & dirt Instead of putting the label on top, why not put it at If you don't, you'll need a huge, heavy label over their label, otherwise you will be stuck I hate it.

It is true that the bad reviews are To hold my college flash cards, I ordered this index card box
4/5

I still bought the product despite all of the negative reviews. It was impossible to close the lid. This isn't worth the time and effort. There will be a refund when I return it.

The paper clips do the job but they are not the easiest to hold

There is only ONE JOB in this case. The purpose of an index card holder is to It worked successfully. Having said that, if you plan to open it a lot, or move it around frequently, it is not the easiest to use. It's the same for my hands I'm not a tiny baby.

This is a fantastic case that holds a lot of index cards
3/5

There is a contour lid on the index card holder that makes it easy to open a groove on the lid. In addition to index cards, I store other items in this holder.
