They are labels that are "permanent." I suppose they could be removed, just like pill bottle labels, but they'd leave gummy adhesive behind.
These cannot be used to print postage.
Heat is not a feature of labels.
As of January 2018, there is only a single roll of 400 labels available.
Selected User Reviews For Brother Genuine DK1201 Die-Cut Standard Rolled Address Labels for QL Printers, (DK1201)
I have a "Brother" label printer that I use to print address labels and other miscellaneous labels on a regular basis. The labels are sticky enough to stay on letters and not fall off. They can also be used to label various garage items. They are simple and effective. Christmas cards and business letters benefit greatly from label printers. Save the addresses to your computer (software is included with the printer) and print as needed.

People are tired of receiving emails, so this is a fantastic product. We went old school and started soliciting via letters and postcards, which has proven to be effective! When used in conjunction with mail merge programs, the Brother label maker and labels have made life so much easier. Using Excel or CSV data that you've created or purchased, you can create hundreds of labels. Also works well with packages.
While the price for one role is reasonable, it claims to be a three-pack in several places, but only one roll is included in the order. One is stated in the questions, but who looks that far when making a purchase? There should be no mention of three rolls in the description.
labeled - For a long time, I'd been looking for a label printer that could print labels in a variety of sizes and fonts. This was exactly what I needed and at a reasonable price. br>Windows 7 compatible; MS Word and MS Excel (Microsoft Office 2010) will be linked together); With the Address Book and Labels provided, it's simple to set up and use. Maker is a program for creating things. (Note: To get the most recent version of each, go to the Brother website. There are more recent versions available than those on the CD that was provided. )br>Decide how you'll use the labels and make sure you get the right sizes. Simple graphics can even be included with the software. br>The black printing is crisp and does not smudge in normal use. Brother sells a wide range of labels (many of which are available through Amazon), the majority of which have a white background, though other colors are available. br>For the past three months, I've been a very happy user.
" Okay, it's not the most *cost-effective* labeling tape (or system) on the market, but it gets the job done. I have a Brother labeler that uses this type of tape for addressing cards and the like, and it does a great job, so I'll keep buying it when it runs out. However, I am disappointed that the price has increased by a few dollars from last year.
This is a replacement for the 1-litre bottle. 1/7" x 3- 1/2" labels for use with the Brother QL-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Label printer with 570 capacity. This little printer has been one of the best purchases I've made because it prints labels for storage boxes, labels to identify which electric cord goes to which appliance/techie toy, file labels, and any other item that needs to be identified. This size of label is the most useful to me because it is large enough for large lettering to be used with storage boxes, but small enough to be folded in half to make file or index tab labels, as well as return address and mailing address labels.
In my business, I've been using these labels for years to label files, addresses, and other items. They are compatible with the Brother label printer and perform admirably.
