The directions state that the ink should be refreshed. It's simple to do. It includes ink that is ready to use.

Is it possible to refill the ink?

Yes, you can use regular ink pad ink.br>

Is it possible to add additional ink if necessary?

Yes, there are two small square holes in the top where you can put the ink if you pull the top off.

Is this something that can be used with photos? Is the ink free of acid?

This one has a cover that should keep the ink fresh for a long time

I use my "scanned" stamp on a regular basis in my "paperless" office at home for items I am scanning but will keep on hand; however, my old stamp had no cover and was only partially stamping "scanned" within a week or two of purchase. I decided to look for a higher-quality one that would help preserve the ink after becoming frustrated. This one caught my eye, and so far I'm very happy with it. It's comfortable to hold and comes with a cover to keep the ink from drying out. It also has a substantial feel to it, so it should be able to withstand the abuse my desk can dish out!.

I purchased books from our library that had been weeded. The stamp did not last long, and although it should be refillable, it is not. It won't last more than 20 stamps unless you buy an ink pad to go with it.

The majority of stamp impression photographs are deceptive - But take a look at this

The font on the stamp's side is deceiving. The font on the top of the stamp is the same way. The top of the stamp's font is too tall, or'stretchy,' but the font on the side is more normal-looking. looking (and, in my opinion, acceptable). The "Impression size" photo in the listing appears to be an accurate representation of the stamp. Because I didn't want such a squishy font, I decided to return the stamp (unopened).

This didn't last long; we're using it for our library and books that have been weeded out of our collection

However, after a week or two of stamping, the color has faded to the point where it is difficult to see. Unfortunately, it did not last and was not worth the money.

To clear the paper pile, I needed a stamp; now everything that needs shredding is clearly stamped, so there will be no confusion or double work. I would buy this stamp again because it works well right out of the box.

Red ink bleeds through the checks a little, but it's simple to use

The ink color is vibrant and easy to use. The ink did bleed through to the other side of the check paper, but otherwise, this is a fantastic product.

This is an excellent stamp

The impression is crisp and clear. I really like this stamp and use it all the time, but I don't like the fact that the lid has to be removed and replaced. This type of stamp has only one disadvantage. Aside from that, it's small, easy to store in a drawer, and it leaves a clean, smudge-free impression.

While the ink is still fresh, it'll be fine

It was great at first, but because I stamp hundreds of items per week, it quickly ran out of ink, and reapplying ink with an ink pad is a pain. It would be great if there was a way to put ink in it. If I had known about refills, I would have purchased a different one.
