I was concerned that the labels would not print properly, as some other reviewers had mentioned. I, too, had the same problem with splotchy printing that so many others have. Then I noticed that the cartridge was fully seated in the label maker, and that while it would print, the alignment was off, and the quality was poor. To fix the problem, I simply opened the cartridge cover and pushed a little on it, and it snapped back into place. After that, I've had no problems; the prints are just as good as the Dyno replacement cartridges, but they're a lot less expensive. Sorry, but under no circumstances do I believe the Dyno cartridges are worth $15.
When I first received my label maker, it only came with the starter cartridge (which, for some reason, discharged the ink sheet with the labels, fluke?). I quickly realized that I'd be in desperate need of more in a hurry. These arrived in a timely manner, worked well with my label maker, and did not discharge the ink sheet with the label (which is MUCH preferred; I'm not sure if the ones that came with it were intended to do so, but I doubt it). br>These labels are used to mark our daily milking (we have a small family farm, nothing commercial) so that I know which one is the most recent without having to scrub lids all the time. They go on easily and come off with only a slight effort, and they rarely leave residue (though they are usually on for less than a week in our case). br>In addition, we used them to label our longer-term storage containers. grains/flours/etc. for long-term storage, as well as to organize our seed storage The labels turned out great.
What a great deal compared to Dymo tape from the factory. On top of that, you'll have twice the length. The performance of this tape is comparable to that of the Dymo. Why should you shell out more money? br>I hesitated for a long time before ordering this and giving it a try. I'm so happy I did.
I went to the store and bought a Dymo Label Maker as well as some cartridges. I used the included tape, but when I ran out several months later and tried to install the tape the store had sold me, they were incompatible. Despite my reservations, I ordered these cartridges from Freshworld (Amazon) and they were a perfect fit. They were also $25 less expensive than Staples in my neighborhood. Really. I wasn't willing to pay $25 for something I don't use on a regular basis, so I'm glad I found them on Freshworld.
I bought these for a school project, and while the printing was good, the label adhesion was a different story. For a start, we applied it to seven folders, and when we returned to assemble those folders with paper inserts after about 30 minutes, we noticed that the labels on six of them had fallen off. br>br>These were intended to replace similar labels (different text) affixed to the folders so that the surface was not unsuitable for label adhesion. br>br>What is the point of having non-native speakers? Labels that stick to everything are completely useless.
It's a waste of money to buy this cartridge. Is it possible that it's because it's Chinese? The printing is splotchy and does not appear to be "solid. " What a waste of time. I'd like a refund of my funds.
I can't comment on the adhesion because I just received them, but if you had these labels in your printer, you wouldn't be able to tell they weren't genuine OEM labels based on their appearance/look/print quality. They look just like the real thing, but for a lot less money!br>br>I'm guessing the adhesion will be fine as well.
These are used for a variety of purposes in my label maker. For Valentine's Day, I made labels and attached them to pencils to give to my class as tokens. They enjoyed it, but the other teachers seemed to enjoy it even more than the students. Since I'm sure I'll always have cartridges to use, I've found a lot more uses for my label maker.
