These cartridges are compatible with my Brady BMP21 handheld label maker. It can print one large row of text or up to four smaller rows of text. It uses the font size you choose to fill the width of the label tape/ribbon you've installed, and the text is centered horizontally and vertically on the tape/ribbon. Yes, depending on the font selection, it can fill the width of the tape/ribbon within about 1/8" for the 34" label (3/32" for the 12" label) at top and bottom.
Hello. This is a 21-foot-long roll of 3/4-inch-wide label material.
I'm not sure; they seem to stick well to formica.
Yes, the letters and fonts are white on black vinyl.

This Brady tape is 100% authentic. When I first used it, I noticed that the thin white tape on top, which is used to transfer the white lettering onto the blue background, does not automatically peel off like it does on most of the other tapes I own. I say "most" because this has happened to me before with one or two of the other tapes I own. This shouldn't be a problem on short labels, but it could be on longer ones. The most serious issue would arise if that thin tape became tangled inside the printer, as it did with the other tapes. The tape may come out with missing characters or parts of characters if it becomes stuck inside the printer. This would be a waste of tape if the label were longer. Because I haven't had this happen with this tape for a long time and haven't used it much, I haven't experienced it yet. However, the possibility exists.
Without a doubt, the finished product is a 5-star rating. The labels are a five-star product because they are long-lasting, simple to read, and simple to apply. (Removing the label from its backing can be a pain if you have large hands or thick fingers, because there isn't much of a tab to pull away from. ) Of course, having fewer tabs means having more label surface. )br>br>Users should be aware that you'll need to use your fingernail to separate the label from its backing, so if you cut or keep your fingernails short, getting to the printed label could be a pain. br>br>The only reason I didn't give it a five-star rating is that these cartridges don't hold a lot of label tape, and the manufacturer doesn't provide any estimates for how long the tape will last before it runs out. br>br>I understand the trade-offs that the Brady system entails: The cartridge system is simple to use, but the amount of tape Brady can put in each cartridge is limited. I also understand that results may vary: br>br> I'd just begun a large labeling project, and I only purchased one cartridge because I wasn't sure I'd purchased the correct item. br>br>However, the amount of labeling tape you get for the price (especially in a primary cartridge like black writing on a white label) seems a little low; I just wish Brady had a system in place where heavy users could recycle their empty cartridges in exchange for a discount on future tape purchases. br>br>The 1 star deficiency is solely due to the small amount of product you receive for the price, as the product itself is a 5 star product. br>br>One last point: Assume you're planning to use these for a long time. labeling of the terms Brady's label adhesive is extremely strong, and once it sets (about 60 to 75 seconds), it will leave a residue on whatever surface you apply it to.
I've been using these for a long time, but the quality appears to have deteriorated significantly. On my most recent order, I put it in the printer and tried to print a label, but it wouldn't go any further. I ejected the Brady cart and discovered that the label was bound up in the machine and that the black "ink" portion was broken and not advancing on to the storage wheel. This cart is essentially useless and unable to be used or repaired. In the future, I plan to experiment with different label brands.
I labeled my pool equipment with Brady labels four years ago (photo taken today). The water lines' black paint is fading, but the Brady labels appear to be brand new.
These are excellent labels, particularly when compared to the competition. I deducted a star because every time I order them, I get the nagging feeling that I don't get nearly as many labels out of each roll as you might expect. Because of the design, I can't trim all the way down to the edge of the writing on my bmp21 plus label machine. You could argue that the problem is with the machine rather than the label, and I could argue that the problem is with the car rather than the brakes. This label system helps us stay organized, and we love it. br>br>They tend to hold up pretty well as long as you are smart enough to get the surface clean beforehand.
I have two rolls that my assistants attempted to load and ruined. When you insert them into other brands, they read the size. They're also more expensive than Dymo or Brother labels. Because Brady labels are hard to come by, I had to go out and buy a new labeler and labels to finish a job.
I've been using my BMP21 for a while now. PLUS has been around for about five years, and during that time, we've gone through several print cartridges with no issues. This is the most recent cartridge I bought (B-). Black on White Vinyl, 595 copies, 0. 375" x 21') and proceeded with the installation as usual. When I tried to print the label, it would not exit the device, so I removed the cartridge and noticed that the black printer ribbon had bunched up and was blocking the label's exit. I made an attempt to roll a take-out container. The printer ribbon was on a reel, but it wouldn't roll. It appears that the printer has made a mistake. The cartridge is unusable due to a jammed up reel. I'm hoping this is just a one-time occurrence.
So inconvenient; I've wasted every other label because I have to print them twice because the backing won't come off without damaging the label when I try to remove it. URG. I'm not going to buy anything else in the future.
