My way is to do it that way. Is the only reason to use these labels if you plan to reuse them at a later time? As for whether it eventually rubs off or not, I'm not sure. I've only had it a short period of time so far. Although it works great, it is very simple to use. There are I think 100 keys I need to keep track of and trying to remember them drives me mad. At the moment, I have a tag on most of the keys. Now there will be no headaches or constant requests from your husband or kids
