Questions & Answers

Does this fit the Pilot Metropolitan refills for the two pens I have?

This is what I believe. Pilot Pens use it, so I assume it's for all of them.

Is the size of the IC100 and the IC50 the same?

Each appears to be the same when I held them side by side. It is not possible to hold more ink on the IC100. I believe IC100 means a 12-pack of batteries and IC50 means a six-pack of batteries. In reality, the cartridges are the same.

Can you tell me how many mL each cartridge holds? To find out if this is cheaper than purchasing a bottle of ink, I've done the math. ?

As far as I know, each contains maybe 2 mL let's say, depending on what I use them for. When you purchase ink in a bottle, the price will likely be less expensive than when you purchase ink in a tube. Additionally, you have more color options when you use bottled ink. Getting a CON- would be a good idea With that, you can refill ink into your pen and fit a 50 converter. Ink can also be purchased in bottled form, allowing you to refill each individual cartridge on a one-to-one basis. It is necessary to refill the cartridge using an ink syringe (or any syringe with a blunt tip). As far as ink syringes go, I recommend Goulet Pens, since they are convenient and inexpensive.

How long does the ink take to dry. Do you think it is easily smudged?

Ink dries fast enough with the fine point pen (unless you press too hard and too much comes out) so that it doesn't smear. Despite this, I am a righty and never have to worry about the side of my hand contacting the ink right away.

It works great because it can withstand nearly every type of crush I will prove it
5/5

Whenever I am on the go, I keep spares in a prescription bottle in my backpack that holds all twelve. It works great because it can withstand nearly every type of crush I will prove it.

This is what the packaging says it is
3/5

The ink I use in my converters is more intense black, but there isn't a huge difference between it and this. I find it disappointing Pilot fountain pens work only with Pilot's proprietary cartridges and converters. International inks are always more readily available than Pilot cartridges, but at least these work with my (one) Specifically, proprietary-only accessibility can be infuriating as it causes frustration Since I began using a converter with the Pilot pen I have, I'm unlikely to purchase these converters again, but I encountered no problems with these cartridges other than the inconvenience of proprietary cartridges, so if this is the type of pen you want, then it should meet your needs.

Ink from Pilot that behaves well at a low price
5/5

If you don't want to use Pilot's lousy converters, then you will need these. Interestingly, these cartridges can be refilled with an ink syringe, but most people will just replace them because you can buy ink in a bottle for less than the cost of the cartridge. In addition to being moist and drying quickly, as with all Iroshizuku inks, this one is also very quick to dry. As with my Noodler's heart of darkness, the game doesn't have any hard startup issues. Due to this ease of use, however, you lose the water resistance you would get from Noodler's For those new to fountain pens, a pack of these and a Pilot MR makes a decent starter kit.

It has improved my spelling and I'm selling my dictionary to pay for this ink! You can use this ink with the Pilot vanishing point pen with a fine tip
5/5

I have become able to flow the ink pretty smoothly once I got the ink flow going. As long as I do not use the pen every couple of days, I have to spend a lot of effort to get clean Rather than a problem with the ink, I think it has more to do with the pen design. Smudging has not been an issue for me so far because the ink seems to dry quickly. Since I'm right-handed, I cannot say for sure what your experience will be, so for you lefties, I am unable to give you an honest account.

Make sure you keep an eye out for My order for the 12 pack was placed a few months ago
3/5

My cartridges just needed to be changed, so I opened it. In addition to my fingers being covered in ink, seven of the 12 had broken open while in the box. There is a big disappointment in my life.

It is packaged in an attractive way
5/5

I have updated the information as of 9/27 Despite my concerns, Amazon walked me through the process of getting new black cartridges quickly. In addition to fitting well with my new Pilot fountain pen, the ink flows smoothly and adds to the quality of my written work! It is well deserved to receive 5 stars! Please break the line with a period. 9/25 Got the ink cartridges and elegant bottle of Japanese ink I ordered a few minutes ago, along with my new fountain pen. I was disappointed that two boxes of cartridges contained blue and black ink instead of the BLACK ink I I will update my rating and review as soon as this is fixed.

I accidentally made one of them disappear during installation, but otherwise it worked fine
4/5

The reason I bought these was that I had a fountain pen with a narrower barrel that would not fit some other ink cartridges, but this one as I tried to push the cartridge onto the back of the nib, the cartridge abruptly bent at an angle, which caused the plug at the back to disappear. Consequently, ink drained from the back of the cartridge -- even after I was able to install it, ink began to flow from the nib (apparently, the back plug works like a vacuum, thus In the future we won't have this problem due to more careful handling.

The color is good and it is convenient
4/5

This is an excellent black ink for Pilot pens, which is a shame since it's proprietary. In this way, I can keep a spare pencil for each color in my pencil roll or.
