Why not simply place the divider in a sheet protector and snip out a slot for the tab (rather than cutting a slit that will extend)? For me, it's perfect.
That depends on the binder's width, sir/madam. The tabs extend beyond the edge of standard 8 1/2" x 11" paper, but the underside may or may not be wide enough to cover the tabs.
br>They're translucent, not opaque.

They aren't as flimsy as Post-it notes, for example. Not as tough as a pencil case, but close. I've been dividing a notebook into months with them for a couple of years. They respond well to a permanent marker.

If you use these dividers in a binder with pages in sheet protectors, you won't be able to see the tabs because the dividers aren't wide enough to see them. To put it another way, the sheet protectors protrude further from the dividers. You also won't be able to get them back. If you're just adding notebook paper to your files or plan to three hole punch your computer paper, this isn't a good idea.
I'm a teacher, and I bought these to put in my students' assessment binders. Because of two main reasons, I'm only awarding these three stars: br>br>1- br>br>br>br>br>br>b It's impossible to reuse the tabs because you have to write directly on them with a sharpie. I suppose there are probably ways to repair them with tape or something else so that they can be reused, but that's more work than I'm willing to put in.
2- The colors are drab and uninteresting. I'm not a big fan of pastel colors and would like to see more variety. br>br>Aside from these benefits, the dividers are extremely durable and make flipping through large binders a breeze because they do not rip or become damaged in any way. However, I believe it would be preferable if the labels could be changed more easily.
These have a nice weight to them. dividers for heavy work These are a great fit for me because I didn't want any with pockets. The writing on the tabs, however, is a different story. I'm fine with it. To get clear and well-defined words, you'll need a high-quality BALLPOINT pen. I emphasize BALLPOINT because some people I know have tried other pens and dismissed them as garbage. If you're using a gel pen or another type of wet ink pen (i. e. You'll get ink smeared on your papers, and it won't be as easy to remove from the dividers once it's dried. You'll also need a good eraser to remove the writing from the dividers if you're using regular ballpoint pen ink. I used a pentel click eraser to remove the majority of it, but there is one dot on the tab that will not erase. Aside from that, these dividers work well and can withstand heavy use.
As others have noted, there was a quantity discrepancy when some of us purchased from this exact listing. However, the total cost, including shipping, was around $10, making it a good deal for 24 dividers. I was expecting something along the lines of three sets of eight, despite the fact that the description was exactly as it is now. However, there was only a single set. There isn't a single thing to do with 24. Again. That was also the case in terms of price. Without the additional shipping, it was about average; however, the shipping charge made it too expensive; I ordered four sets, expecting 96, but only needed 12. instead of a return on my shipping and 25% refund, the seller sent me two additional sets instead of a return on my shipping and 25% refund, the seller sent me two ad At the very least, I could begin my project with six sets until I could find a better deal on the remaining six. I am not enraged in the least. Who would have guessed that 24 sets, each costing $4-$5, would be available? Is it really $7 per person? I felt like I was purchasing a lottery ticket! The dividers, on the other hand, are incredible. I'm looking for some that aren't see-through, and this is the best I've come across so far.
I understand that my rating appears illogical, but here's the deal: These dividers are very good and sturdy. They are extremely effective. However, because they are described as being writeable and erasable with a ballpoint pen or pencil, I am only giving them a three-star rating. I tried both, but neither worked for me. I'd still order them again, but I'm disappointed that they were misrepresented. I labeled them with Post-It Flags - And, to be honest, I like it that way. However, if something is advertised as one thing, I expect it to be that thing.
I can rewrite the tabs as my studies progress, making them extremely adaptable; they're also attractive colors and large enough to write on, so you don't need to be visually gifted to read them. Save money by using reusable items. In my opinion, this is a win-win situation.
These binder dividers appeal to me greatly. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong to prevent the ink from erasing. I just use my label maker to keep them from being re-used. usable. It makes no difference to me - I bought them because I liked the colors and the price was too good to pass up. The divider itself is of excellent quality. It's a heavyweight piece of paper. They're in several binders for a study class that I'm teaching. They are fantastic. Because I was unable to remove the ink from the paper, I was docked a star.
I've never bought a divider that can be wiped clean with a ballpoint pen or pencil before. I used a felt pen instead of wiping them because I didn't want to wipe them. However, they claim that a ball point pen or pencil can be "wiped off. " Instead of paper, I preferred the stiffer, more durable divider provided by plastic. It performs exactly as I had hoped.
